Open Records Coordinator
Coordinating open records responsibilities and serving as the contact for matters pertaining to open records for programs in the Environmental Health Strategy. Processes requests for information under the Texas Public Information Act (PIA) for records created or collected under environmental programs, including Asbestos, Lead, Hazardous Substances, Abusable Volatile Chemicals and Hazard Communication. Coordinates with staff from other units to obtain records that are responsive to the request and ensures all required response timelines are met. Responds to questions from staff and external customers on the requirements of the PIA and policies and procedures for processing open records requests. Performs tracking, copying, filing and record review activities as needed, adhering to department and State guidelines, policies, and procedures under the Texas Public Information Act. Performs complex searches and queries of the Regulatory Automation System (RAS) database to track and locate files and information. Evaluates information requested to determine if an Attorney General opinion is necessary for determining if the information is subject to exceptions provided by the PIA. Reviews records and redacts information identified as confidential under state and/or federal law. Performs other duties as assigned by the Manager to meet the needs of the Group and the PSQA Unit. Vanpool Project Manager
Provide daily support to the vanpool program, by reviewing applications for new groups, assist in forming groups of 7 or more individuals, and assist groups with low ridership. Run monthly reports, assist with yearly NTI reports. Assist with community outreach and attend various community events related to products and services provided by Capital Metro. Coordinate with TxDot as project manager for the 5310 project, an Interlocal Agreement that uses Federal Funds to assist three (3) non-profit agencies with wheel-chair accessible vehicles. Monitor and maintain program for the two year agreement term. Share phone responsibilities with staff, and maintain log on all calls. Maintain data base on riders, alternate drivers, and primary drivers and run queries, reports, and review trends. Review and approval qualified driver request applications, review all information pertaining to the van group members prior to set up and delivery of vehicle. Monitor use of the vehicles and maintenance, random drug test on drivers and random checks on maintenance records.
Executive Assistant II
Provide high-level administrative support to the EVP/Chief Operating Officer, Chief of Staff and the President/CEO. Duties included answering and responding to all request, complaints, and inquiries. Prepare all travel request for all department staff members including department directors and managers. Review all requisitions prior to authorization, submission of all requisitions and board agenda items for the departments. Monitor and review all contracts within the department for variances including monthly budget reports. Work closely with the Executive Assistant for the CEO and coordinate all daily responsibilities within the office. This includes working closely with Board Members and the Chairman of the Board of Directors. Answering and responding to all Open Records Request for the office, and handle all complaints.
Sr. Administrative Assistant
Monitor ADA compliance and performance measure on contracts. Work closely with Manager on all eligibility complaints, non-compliance issues/concerns and Appeal Hearings. Responsible for collecting, importing, validating, all monthly statistical data and reports which include key performance indicators (KPI) and statistical data for NTI reporting for year-end reports. Monitor and assist with the management of the Taxi Contract, responsible for verification of charges and the invoicing of such charges.
