DNA Courier
Drove as a courier of DNA Samples that were collected from clients and
delivered to Sequetech for processing.
7/10 to 8/11 Solyndra, Inc (Aerotek) Fremont, CA
Equipment Builder
Primary duties were building Evaporative and Sputter systems to building 4, vacuum
trouble shooting, correction of vacuum problems, electronic and mechanical maintenance
on these systems. Electronic installation included D-Net and IO systems. Contributed
to the successful completion of one Sputter and seven Evaporative systems.
8/03 to 3/08 Aviza Technology, Inc. Scotts Valley, CA
Final Test Technician
Provided Final Test to the Atmospheric and sub-atmospheric CVD systems
manufactured at Aviza Technology. My duties on these systems were; installing
all main power to the tools, troubling shooting connection problems, and
verifying all voltages to the tool, vacuum check and trouble correction, PLC system
check and problem correction, wafer transport system alignment and problem correction,
N2 chamber cleaning and installing Unix Software for system operation.
Responsible for shortening the Main Power-Up test time from one month to eight
hours.
6/02 to 8/03 ASM America, Inc. Phoenix, AZ
Field Support Engineer
Provided field support on the Eagle- 12 PECVD systems installed at
Intel, Hillsboro, Oregon. . Activities on this tool were;
Trouble shooting electronic problems, trouble shooting vacuum problems, trouble shooting the wafer transport system and aligning the wafer transport system, cleaning the vacuum chamber and adding equipment modifications to the tool. Assisted with initial tool installation and Setup.
01/00 to 12/01 Quester Technology, Inc Fremont, CA
Technical Support Engineer
Providing Technical Field support to Field engineers and customers within the United States and South East Asia. . Based on achievements, was promoted to Tech Support Engineer providing technical support/training to local and worldwide customers and Quester field engineers.
7/94 to 11/98 Watkins-Johnson Scotts Valley, CA
Senior Process and Maintenance Technician
Provided process and maintenance support on the HDP 2000 tool. This included process development, operation and all required maintenance activities. I provided field support for the installation of the HDP 2000 tool in South East Asia. High Density Plasma CVD processes were LTO and NF3 chamber clean. I was instrumental in the development of procedures for operation, maintenance, preventative maintenance and safety for the HDP 2000 tool. Assisted in the installation of the HDP 2000 in South East Asia.
11/92 to 7/94 Advanced Crystal Sciences San Jose, CA
Senior Field Service Engineer
Provided field service support to Advanced Crystal Sciences on LPCVD installations. Provided on-site equipment maintenance, process development and operational training of LPCVD and atmospheric CVD to client staff engineers, maintenance personnel and operators within the United States, Europe and South East Asia.
3/90 to 11/92 Xerox Corporation Palo Alto, CA
Equipment Maintenance Engineer
Responsible for engineering modifications, up grades, PM’s, and
maintenance on LPCVD, PECVD, CVD and sputtering systems in the
R&D facility. Trouble shot, modified and repaired all LPCVD, PECVD, Sputtering and CVD systems at the Park facility. Brought their MRC 603 Sputtering system from a non functioning system to fully functional. Trouble shot the electronic systems and found problems with the Intel 880 and the Regen circuitry. The Intel 880 had been treated to a water bath and was replaced. The problem with the Regen function was signal traced to a missing trace on a PCB and the trace was installed. The Regen function resumed normally. Also rebuilt the wafer pallet assembly and cleaned all vacuum parts. These activities resulted in improved performance and reliability. I trained Park engineers and operators on system operation and maintenance on these systems.
