Project Manage various projects that required interfacing with the multiple Oracle ERP instances, Migration to new environments, Upgrades of tools/packages/RDBMS and implementing new custom functionality. These projects are often time-boxed as well as in direct conflict with other key projects with overlapping deliverables and timeframes. Xerox utilizes the Time To Market (TTM) phase approach whereby an exit review is required prior to proceeding with the next phase.

Oversee multiple projects across all phases of development

Monitor and communicate workflow and timeline in both with MS Project, MS Excel and MS Visio to show milestone activities and progress which is presented to multiple audiences and various levels of management.

Creation of Project Charter, and a Business Case with stated NPV

Coordination with Financial teams Project schedule, Resource Management, Creating and maintaining the Project Plan to develop status reports, cost estimates and resource plans.

Devised migration from out-of-support 3rd party package which had no technical knowledge support into current state 3rd party package.

Implemented upgrade of Oracle SOA/FMW and RDBMS on-time and with zero budget. Synchronized upgrade with other projects to be able to utilize their testing resources to test common functionality.

Advocated and obtained additional funding from Decision Team for testing resources that were required from outside organizations to produce a quality upgrade of our Oracle Developing Markets (Mexico and Brazil) ERP instance.

Led the team to implement Vertex-O Series implementation with linkage to Xerox Global Financial system. Required the procurement of the Vertex software as well as Oracle DB and RAC licenses.

Organized sub projects with outside organizations for server acquisition, network requirements and implementation of Disaster Recovery.

Negotiated and obtained buy-in from resources to agree to Project date objectives.

Organized group to create a Test Plan and execute these tests, with documented test results. Confirmed with integrating systems that they had tested per these test plans.

Managed and facilitated the change control board for the SOA environment with more than 10 integrated areas of business and consisting of approximately 65 participants.
