PRICE SMART, the South American division of COSTCO: Expedited Implementation of a remote demo website for presentation of services to Minister of Commerce in Peru by integration of the new system into their existing Costco environment.
WESTERN DIGITAL: As the Interim IT manager, managed the staff and the project to design and implement a new edge based multi gigabyte system to push custom entertainment data to millions of internet clients utilizing idle processor time on client side.

Some of the major clients were:
TOYOTA: Designed a Web enabled Lotus Notes Lab environment for a project tracking which gave the client the capability to track the progress of their IT projects at any time or any place via an internet browser.
Fluor Daniel: Manager and lead engineer for design and deployment team at Fluor Daniel for the Lotus Notes upgrade architecture and migration of a global server and client in the U.S. and at over 50 international sites. The migration was accomplished with complete transparency to the users. Managed international tactical 7/24 help desk division for the upper management and new project sites. Designed new workstations and an automated deployment procedure. Planned and managed the pilot and deployment phases for 15,000 local and mobile users globally, which provided access to legacy Applications as well as the new.
Weyerhaeuser: Designed new infrastructure, nine different levels of security platforms and a comprehensive rollout procedure for workstations and Servers connecting 53 Pulp paper manufacturing plants and offices at Weyerhaeuser’s Packaging Business Systems division in Tacoma, Washington.
American HealthCare: Designed network infrastructure, end user platform and automated document scanning procedures for American HealthCare Services’ Legal department to provide up to several hundred remote clients with access to their document servers.
Mattel Toys: Designed, tested, implemented and supported a supplemental network for an upcoming international infrastructure.
Vons Companies Inc.: Defined requirements (hardware and software purchase, hardware upgrades, etc.) to implement new workstations and Servers for the Applications Department of the Vons Companies Inc. The upgrades included connectivity to their mainframe. Obtained, installed and supported the implementation of the new environment.
Ultramar: As part of the Outsourcing Project, developed an upgrade recommendation report for existing client/server system to give remote access to all clients.
PacTel Cellular (Air Touch): Designed and Implemented remote sales force package for travelling work force connecting to VAX mainframes.
Orange County Marshall: Designed, implemented and supported a complete infrastructure consisting of Novell, AIX servers and with Ingres 4GL as the Client/Server Development Environment and interfaced IBM and Unisys mainframes for the entire Marshall Offices and court houses. Defined requirements and best practices.
Los Angeles International Airport (LAX): Designed and implemented a mission critical FDDI Token Ring network infrastructure running over miles of fiber optics backbone for the airport security system. AIX based system monitored all ports of entry in terminals and Airline Maintenance facilities (Delta, United, American, etc.) using 911 time servers with real-time reporting to Federal Agencies.
Los Angeles Fire Department: Implemented a Client/Server based network for a Computer Aided Dispatch system and command center. An OS/2 based network, it utilized all the city communication infrastructure to reduce response time.
Los Angeles County Social Services Department: Upgraded, supported, maintained and continuously expanded on an SNA network of over 1500 remote stations and front end processors.
