Description:

Beacon3 is the Department of Transitional Assistance's online, real time, interactive, integrated and person base mission critical system developed using @Vantage framework.

It is used to capture their client's demographic, financial, nonfinancial and all data necessary to determine eligibility and benefit amounts for the Department's SNAP, TAFDC and EAEDC programs is collected online by an AU Manager, one time for each member of a household. The AU Manager enters the data into their personal computers that traverse the Department's local and wide area networks. once the data is verified by the Assessed Person and external sources, eligibility and the benefit amount is calculated online, and authorized, notices are produced, and benefits are issued through the Financial Management Control System via Electronic Benefit Transfer, Direct Deposit.

Responsibilities:

Created front end pages using HTML,JSP and handle the server side logic in Java Servlets.
