Gained experience with different equipments being used in these units such as cardio tocogram (CTG) machine for fetal monitoring.
Carried out Bubblers assessment to the mothers in postpartum and monitored FBS and RBS and vital signs.
Counseled mothers on preventative health and postpartum practices, including breastfeeding initiation, diet and exercise,
Reviewed obstetrician files to ensure that all data were up to date and completed, and all reports were provided
Pediatric Unit – July 2012.
