Assist to care for the patient in labour.

Gained experience with different equipments being used in these units such as cardio tocogram (CTG) machine for fetal monitoring.

Carried out Bubblers assessment to the mothers in postpartum and monitored FBS and RBS and vital signs.

Counseled mothers on preventative health and postpartum practices, including breastfeeding initiation, diet and exercise,

Reviewed obstetrician files to ensure that all data were up to date and completed, and all reports were provided

Pediatric Unit – July 2012.

HMC Al-Khor Hospital (80 hours)

Roles and Responsibilities

Assist pediatrics care processes such as setting IV and medication administration

Assist assigned nurse while caring for pediatric patients to use distractive techniques during caring in order to remove kids mind from painful procedures
