DETAILS OF WORK EXCECUTED IN ELECTRICAL FIELD FOR TOPSIDE PROJECT.

My job involves Periodic Inspection of equipment and plant to be installed for topsides operation.

Inspection on platform in Hazardous (zone-0, 1, 2) & Safe areas included detailed inspection.

Inspection of installation of cathodic protection anode and cathode electrodes and its cabling and testing, installed for topside project vessels.

Certified equipment on the platform on all systems i.e. Fire and Gas, Instruments, Telecom, landing Termination for I.S (insintrically safe circuits & Non I.S), tray, ladder rack its supports installation and Small power and all the drive systems Instrument termination Cabinets.

Telemetry cabinets, SCADA system installation its cabling, DCS cabinet installation its cabling, L.V & H.V switch gears like PCC, MCC, EDB, LDB etc. / Turbine generators of “ROLLSROYCE”, 33/11KV Transformers, Glycol regeneration package, water and gas injection compressors, Instruments installation & its cabling, Bacon light,navigation lighting, termination like transmitters, Nucleonic level transmitter, control valves, pressure Transmitters, solenoid valves etc. Raising punch lists for all faults found which are not as per standards specs of the project and then carrying out the appropriate remedial works. Worked out jobs as per inspection test methods. Read and refer Hazardous area classification, Instrumentation location plan P&ID drawing, hook up drawing. Involved in Instrument testing and report generation.

My job includes monitoring contractors installation work at site as per standards, ITPS, project specs, Inspection in Hazardous(zone-0,1,2) & Safe areas included detailed inspection of all EEX Certified equipment Inspection of certified equipment’s for plants project work, Review field quality control procedure, making punch list, reports for inspection work involved as per their procedure & specification for inspection of material, instruments, inspection of installation & testing meggering testing of power, single cable ( Concealed type in conduits, underground, above ground,, I.S earthing witness laying of instrument cable under/above ground, its glanding, installation of cable tray, FJB, junction box, telemetry interface cabinets, witness calibration and installation of instrument liker shut down valves, Pressure safety valves, flow transmitters, recorders, fusible plugs, nucleonic meters, gauges, orifice plates,, ESD/FSD system.

Familiarization with the job specification and review all documentation associated with Instrumentation including Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), Procedures, Method Statements, Vendor Documentation and Maintenance and Operations Manuals relative to the topsides modules.
