Management of versatile portfolio of programs in the Aviation line of business. Continued leadership of the Repair & Return program after the sale of the business from DRS to IAP, offering a true end-to-end return management solution to foreign Governments in the US market. Led the transition and integration process from DRS to IAP quickly and seamlessly, without negatively impact the operation of the program.

Active member of BD red teams, responding to RFI and RFP documents in the military aviation contracting world, in support of the US government and its allies.

Repair & Return Program Manager, Aviation & Logistics Line of Business

Leadership and management of a $108M direct commercial contracts providing Repair/Replace and Return support services to a foreign government. Overseeing all aspects of supplier’s selection and negotiations, customer support and interface, parts management, as well as business development.

Developed and implemented corrective plans of action to continuously reduce customer specified Turn Around Times and increase On Time Delivery rate.

Monitored the program’s budget, ensuring financial well-being of the program by analyzing cost effectiveness and exercising cost control.

Identified and selected more than 220 sources of repairs for thousands of parts and part numbers, emphasis on diminished parts manufacturers, negotiated repair pricing and contracts. Maintained a 3% or less cost escalation on a year-to-year basis.

Organized, designed and launched a 24/7 web based Program Asset Tracking application, enhancing asset tracking ability as well as measurement and reporting capabilities.

Provided statistical analysis of strategic demand plans, including what-if scenario modeling and decision support of different demand plan options. Led a Performance Based Logistics initiative to outsource foreign military sales Repair & Return maintenance program. Reducing overseas average TAT by 40%.

Performed cost/benefit analysis tests on repairable items in order to determine effectiveness of purchase versus repair.

Deployed and implemented critical chain project management methodology according to the Theory of Constraints on key air-craft overhaul projects, improving on-time-delivery back to the squadrons by 20%.

Key member of strategic KAIZEN teams, such as overhaul of F-100 engines and F-15/16 landing gears maintenance. Reducing “Aircraft On Ground” instances by 10%.
