SUMMARY OF WORK EXPERIENCE

1. Currently working for a Shipping company, based in Dubai since January 2009 as Senior

System Administrator . Managing the network since inception as active part of the team

migrating Active Directory & Exchange server and managing Datacenter with 26 HP servers,

Hyper-V Server, HP San Storage.

a) Installation & Maintenance of Windows 2012, 2008 & 2003 domain controll ers, Hyper-

V Server, Exchange 2013 cluster, VEEAM Backup, Exchange Frontend Relay servers

with mail Marshal, BlackBerry Enterprise server, Citrix XenApp server, Citrix Secure

Access gateway, provide support for customer specific application servers of Shi pnet,

Shipmate & HR application, configured and managed MacAfee EPO to manage clients

& antivirus definitions.

b) Managing & maintaining servers with current patches & service packs.

c) Troubleshoot & resolve hardware & software problems in office & remote supp ort to

ships.

d) Interacting with various vendors & getting vendor specific support on hardware &

software issues while adhering to the SLA for HP servers, SAN storage, VEEAM

Backup, Juniper Firewall, Blue Coat Proxy & other Network & security Devices.

l) Installing, Managing and monitoring Vessels networks comprising of Windows server

with local active directory and windows desktop clients with file sharing, internal

emailing and application support.

m) Vessels configured with VSAT and FBB connectivity and vessels email configured using

Skyfile email platform. Hands on experience on AMOS, HMC mail and IPsignature

email software for vessels.

n) Providing onshore and offshore support to vessels over the phone or Remote desktop and

also attending vessels if required to resolve any IT related problems.

o) Have done Dry Docking of more than 25 vessels during the course of time, and performed

upgrade of all the computers onboard periodically with every Dry Dock of the vessel.

p) Installation and configuration of Watch time keeping software onboard vessels using ISF

watch keeper software.
