• Led teams for the Rug Division in woven and tufted rug facilities and 2 yarn warehouses in daily operations with emphasis in labor assignment restructuring, changeover reductions, small lot inventory reductions, behavioral based safety initiatives, and preventative maintenance restructuring.

• Achieved significant improvements in the Space Dye Division including: 10 months with no medical incidents, 40%+ reduction in external off quality, 35%+ reduction in waste, labor assignment restructuring, and $200,000 favorable POVA compared to a $1.8mm unfavorable the prior year

• Rebuilt the Kuster Dyeing team after plant downsizing and restructuring associated with business decline during the recession while also working with R&D on the development of new products for key customers such as Home Depot, Lowes, and Menards resulting in 40% of total production from products less than 1 year old.

• Brought into a newly acquired large carpet backing facility to implement change management programs and culture change initiatives to transition the workforce to the new organization while establishing a coaching and development process, implementing new safety initiatives, rolling out workplace (5s) organization along with quality and process controls for the Primary Weaving division.

• Implemented efficiency improvements, cost reductions, maintenance programs (TPM), and developed key measurement systems resulting in record production while also decreasing medical incidents, off quality, and waste in both the Finishing and Rotary Dyeing operations.

• Implemented Six Sigma tools in a team-based environment focused on off quality prevention, cost reductions, and increased productivity; developed and modified process specifications; monitored, modified and developed preventative maintenance procedures and schedules; and developed favorable employee relationships.
