Position control of an Inverted Pendulum
Developed a transfer function by obtaining equations of motion for the gantry system.
Employed Simulink to numerically determine the step response. Utilized MATLAB to verify the step response generated by Simulink.
Augmented the gantry system with a forward path PD controller and determined the new transfer function.
Analysis Using ANSYS
Interpreted the bending of a beam element using different solid elements like Q4, Q8, CST & LST.
Analyzed the stress distribution on a plate with a hole subjected to uniform tension and compression in order to obtain contour plots for various stresses acting on the plate.
Finite Element Program: Beam Element with axial deformation
Designed a Finite Element program to detect the various axial deformation capabilities of an arch using MATLAB & Simulink software.
Deduced the vertical and horizontal displacements along with the slope to determine the DOF solution.
Conducted a Displacement and Strain Convergence study on the arch using 4, 8, 16, 32 and 64 element mesh size.
Design of Marine Engine Sub-Assembly
Engineered a 3-D model sub-assembly of a Marine Engine using SolidWorks.
