Optimizing Aircraft ground flow management using facilities planning principles: A four-month project, Focused on Optimizing Aircraft turnaround time, optimizing deplaning and boarding of Passengers, optimizing loading and unloading of the main cargo deck, optimizing loading and unloading of the main cargo deck and optimising of servicing lavatories and galleys. Defined by Process design, process flow, design layout with total economic justification and detailed improved timeshare by operations chart using Lean principles and methods. Lean Six Sigma Quality Project - "Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Battery Explosion" Used the DMAIC approach to determine root causes of variation, poor performance (defects) addressing and eliminating causes in Samsung Galaxy Note 7 model that had problems with the battery explosion thereby analysing the data given and also using tools: SIPOC and Gantt Chart, Fish Bone Diagram, FMEA, Regression, R to show the average, Standard Deviation, ANOVA, SPC Charts and regression. Optimizing Station layout and process flow at Texadelphia: A five-month project, carried out a Direct time study Analysis for a normal process time of an order at Texadelphia. Two stations were considered with layouts and employees working on each under elements for improvement. Successfully brought down the process time from an average 14 minutes to 10 minutes, optimized the number of employees needed at each station and their respective process layouts resulting in process improvement, improved cost efficiency and waste management using 8D, Value stream mapping, direct time study analysis and facilities principles.
