PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

Senior Field Engineer - 2006 – Present

Employed with Ridgewood USA as a field engineer for the installation, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting and training on medium/high voltage three phase power generators and inverters used in the oil/gas, automotive and structural industries. Working with a team of contractors and plant personnel, responsible for the placement of equipment using overhead cranes and forklifts, provide direction for up to 25 contractors for the wiring and plumbing of all utilities, provide power on tests and diagnoses, plus perform all troubleshooting skills necessary to equipment commissioning and repair.

* Successfully install and commission both new and used capital equipment under budget and timeline constraints.

* Expert in three phase power, SCR controllers, Siemens, Allen Bradley AC/DC drives, step up/step down transformers, RF power generation, inverters, breakers, relays, contactors, DCS systems, SCADA, Siemens/Allen Bradley PLC's, AC/DC motors, low voltage, 277VAC, 480 VAC, 120KVAC, 15 KVDC.

* Able to operate all electronic diagnostic equipment relative to equipment commissioning and troubleshooting including, but not limited to: Digital Volt Meters, oscilloscopes, current probes, wave generators, high potential testers, high voltage probes and spectrum analyzers

* Well versed and capable using a large array of both hand and power tools needed to hoist, secure, clamp, torque, maintain and repair all associated equipment.

Field Engineer - 2002 to 2006: Employed with Hitachi Medical Systems of America, a manufacturer of low and high field MRI scanners, CT scanners, X-ray and ultrasound imaging equipment.

Responsibilities: Field service engineer responsible for installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of all Hitachi medical systems MRI, CT, X-ray and Ultrasound equipment. Extensive knowledge of computer hardware operating systems, electronic/electro-mechanical operating systems, image reconstruction, RF power generation, DICOM, magnetic theory and human physiology. Daily interaction with doctors, radiologists, nurses, patients and all other associated personnel in the medical imaging field.

Field engineer/Project Leader - 1991 – 2002

Employed with Thermatool Corp as a field engineer for the placement, installation, plumbing, wiring, lagging, interconnecting, commissioning, troubleshooting and final acceptance testing of multi million dollar mill systems both regionally and internationally. Responsible for directing up to 20 personnel, as well as hands on involvement, regarding placement of all equipment layout by interpreting blueprints, local and national codes, safety ordinances and workflow dynamics

* Single handedly led team from uncrating to final acceptance testing all functions, both mechanical and electrical, required for installation of systems worldwide with scope of work covering as much as three months on site.

* Highly trained and experienced in both AC and DC flux vector drive tuning and repair, encoder tuning, three phase power supplies, RF power generation, inverters, transformers and medium/high voltage transmission.

* Field service engineer responsible for installing and troubleshooting medium/high voltage power supplies in a manufacturing environment when not deployed as project manager/team leader of mill system installations.

* Highly experienced in the rigging, hoisting, placement, securing and torquing of all equipment up to 20 tons.
