Systems Engineer

Technical Writer/System Engineer - Requirements

Subject Matter Expert (SME) with Counter-Intelligence Task Force (CITF) CITF-GTMO, CITF-AF, CITF-IZ on how the investigative and intelligence systems work in these areas and the specific functionality as a means to derive functional, performance, interface and constraint requirements for a large Counter-Intelligence IT system.

Key person responsible for the development of user requirements and top-level system requirements for a large, distributed Counter-Intelligence IT system used extensively by multiple IC Agencies.

Worked with end users to identify critical operational and technical issues in support of the Concept of Operations (CONOPS), architecture, and requirements development. This involved a variety of interview and documentation techniques which resulted in an iterative and evolving set of documents developed with full support of the diverse user community. Sometimes required to get user/customer buy-in on the CONOPs, architecture and requirements elements to enhance their overall understanding of how requirements define needs and not necessarily fixed solutions.

Interviewed end users for knowledge of how each utilizes the system; i.e. Agents, Intel Analysts, Attorneys, Unit Chiefs, and Data Entry from Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, FBI, and Secret Service. These interviews formed the basis of CONOPS and architectural structures that became the system requirements.
