To whom it may concern,
My name is Dr. Vincent M. Torina and I believe that I am a perfect candidate for the position of Doctor of Chiropractic at your office. Although young in age and career I believe that my multiple experiences in private practice settings, along with my knowledge of musculoskeletal injuries add experience well beyond my years.
I am a 2014 graduate of the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida Campus. My studies were always of the highest priority for me while completing my graduate degree. I finished school with a 3.39 GPA and having completed all portions of NBCE board examinations prior to graduation. While in school I held many different roles to further the education of my peers as well as my own serving for 2+ years in both the roles of Biochemistry tutor and Care 2 tutor where actual adjustment techniques were taught alongside of Dr. Mary Connolly, DC. During my time as a clinical student I well exceeded the number of clinical visits needed for graduation by seeing more than 500 patient visits and was given the Clinical Excellence Award for my module block as well as being nominated as a finalist for the Virgil Strang Award based on my multi-disciplinary care philosophy that I brought to my patients. I was awarded the opportunity to spend my last semester in a preceptorship role at a private multidisciplinary practice Roach Family Wellness Integrative Medicine. This practice allowed me the opportunity to work alongside other DC’s, massage therapist, certified personal trainers, nurse practioner, and medical doctors.
Upon my graduation I was offered a position as a clinical assistant with my preceptorship, allowing me to continue in a clinical setting while awaiting my licensure. Upon licensing in Florida I was offered a position at Orlando Chiropractic, a family clinic that I helped build up from a small one doctor practice to now a 3 doctor practice treating 100’s of patients a week. While still serving as a full time practice member I was also afforded the opportunity to continue my work in a multidiscipline setting by serving as the Chiropractor at Hohman Rehab and Physical Therapy for 6 months. This position ended due to time constraints but allowed me further experience working alongside other professionals. I continue working with family practice doctors, orthopedic surgeons, and physical therapist on a regular basis with routine co-management of patients.
I do hope that this has given you a better understanding of who I am as a person as well as a DC. I look forward to the possible future of working with your company.
Yours in Health,
Dr. Vincent M. Torina, DC Education
