Nature of work :

Multi-disciplinary-responsibility (QA/QC Piping / Welding / painting / Structural Inspection) for quality assurance of Technimont, to ensure respective program are being executed according to approved procedures, Reference codes and client specifications.

Initiate daily safety toolbox to the workers and ensure that everyone is aware on safety procedures

Performing the Materials receiving inspection Material Identification and Fit up Inspection as per piping class according the drawings.

During fabrication material identification according to MTC, Material grade, heat number, thickness, length, and checking working going as per drawings and clients specifications

Joint fit up, aligning the joint main ting the pre heat, checking welding process, inter pass clean & Temp, background surfaces, NDT examination.

Raising request for fit-up inspection to client for alignment inspection, components bevel angle, root gap and alignment before welding for go head clearance to the welding.

Verify base materials and welding consumable materials matches to the requirement and ensure that the specified welding filler metals are used on each base metal

During the welding check bevel angle, root gap,pre heat temp, inter pass temperature, weld profile, travel speed of the electrode by welder, electrode consumption, and visual inspection of completed work.

Performing dimensional and orientation inspection along with client.

Do review weld and material traceability record on test package, conduct Pre-line walk down, ensure weld has been done by a qualified welder with an approved WPS and materials classification meets the requirements, check heat numbers as per materials certification and ensure all NDE for all welds prior to testing.

Witnessing the NDT tests like RT, UT, MPT, PT, and PMI and verify reports before submitting the clients.

Verification/Monitoring of all NDE activities Evaluating, interpreting and cross checking the results of NDT and cross check the NDT personnel work and auditing and grading the technicians as per knowledge and skill.

During Pre-Hydro testing activities, check all gauges calibration certificates in its maximum range against the require test pressure, recorder calibration certificate with the equipment used; ensure all paper works to be attached in the test package including water analysis report..

Surveillance inspection of Station piping spool fabrication as per fabrication drawing, visual inspection for joint fit-up, pre-heat and completed welds and Performing visual inspection after welding.

Work summary :

Multi-disciplinary-responsibility (QA/QC Piping/Welding Inspection/painting) for quality assurance of Trags Company to ensure respective program are being executed according to approved procedures, codes, specifications.

Supervise and coordinate reviews of Trags company and contractor documentation to ensure completeness and correctness for turnover.

Supervise review of quality control program documents, method statements and Inspection and Test Plans.

Provide daily oversight of construction surveillance reporting on safety and quality system and submit immediate to lead QA/QC Engineer in weekly basis.

For the welding, following standards, code & specification. Referring the documentation and maintaining the welding procedures, checking the welder qualification, hold points, erection of welding inspection methods, checking the welding equipments, Materials in filler for electrode type to be selected.
