Responsible for the manufacturing and distribution of products to six distribution centers. Oversaw corporate inventory at the Charlotte facility and all six distribution centers, averaging $9.5 million per month. Responsible for operating budget of $24 million.
Directed and managed the work activities of 78 employees. Restructured manufacturing procedures to double productivity; last productivity rate is 99.4%. Implemented Lean Manufacturing in the production area.
Responsible for managing the entire North Carolina plant operations and productions including facilities, inventory, production, quality, packaging, and shipping of product in a 24 hour/5+ day operation through the direct supervision of 5 managers/supervisors.
Managed an operating budget of $7 million per year; averaging cost of 98% to budget. Productivity runs were 97.5%. Achieved two years with no OSHA recordable injuries or lost time. Achieved 100% pay out of incentives and retention goals to associates. Supervised Manufacturing, Maintenance, Materials Management, Laboratory, Human Resources, and Accounting. Maintained ISO 9002 certification.
Achieved over five years without an OSHA lost time injury and three years without an OSHA recordable injury or illness. Managed an operating budget of $8 million. Exceeded budgetary goals by maintaining actual cost to 95% of budget. Consolidated the plant activities to other manufacturing facilities, on time and within budget.

Oversaw a $2 million capital budget, which included the installation of three new machines, a 50% replacement in capacity. Maintained staff at 90% of budget. Extrusion yield improved from 95.1% to 96.2% for 2001.
Improved on-time deliveries from 92% in 2000 to 97% in 2001. Percentage of customer complaints fell from 2.0% to 1.2% in 2001. Percentage of plant related returns fell from 1.2% to .8% in 2001.First pass quality approval for 2000 was 92.2$; 2001 was 94.2%. Upgraded ISO 9002 certification to the 2000 standard.
