SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS

My employment history has allowed me to hone my leadership and communication abilities, allowing me to excel in sales, marketing, management and customer relations. During my employment history, including the time I owned and operated my own company and in my current position, I have been involved in sales, marketing and management. In all these positions, I increased the sales of either the products or services that I represented. I have served individuals, small and large companies and local and federal governments as customers. My customers were aware of my desire to exceed their expectations with the products or services they received. This is why I have include two of my customers as references. WORK EXPERIENCE

August 2017 - Present

Laundry and Cleaners Supply, Inc. Phoenix / Tucson, AZ Account Manager

During this brief time with Laundry and Cleaners Supply, Inc., my responsibilities have been to develop the Tucson and surrounding areas as a potential market for their janitorial line of products. I have worked daily calling on potential customers to assess their product wants and needs. I had to learn about the competition in this market and at what price points certain products would be offered. The customers that I have secured are those that were previously purchasing these products elsewhere. It was my task to convince them of the advantages of buying these products from LCS.

November 2007 – August 2017

Human Resources Center of Edgar and Clark Counties Paris, IL Laundry Manager / Work Services Supervisor

I managed the Work Services Program for a non-profit CRP (Certified Rehabilitation Program). My department focused on the training and work opportunities for adults with disabilities. This department operated a commercial laundry. We provided laundry service to four area hospitals as well as hospitality customers. It was also my responsibility to call on and secure new business and to manage the relationships with all current and potential customers. I had staff that worked in one of the local hospitals 365 days per year. We provided distribution and laundry pick-up services. I had two supervisors and one trainer that reported to me and they supervised seven individuals. All of these individuals helped to train and assist consumers (individuals with disabilities) in how to perform various laundry tasks. We also operated a small production area that worked with local companies on parts inspection and manipulation. We served over fifty consumers who received a paycheck for their hard work. In my nine and half year history with HRC, the laundry saw an increase in efficiency and of total laundry poundage by sixty percent. This has given this department increased revenues to help support the rest of a non-profit mental health service. October 1997 - December 2006

The Wheel Tough Company, Inc. Terre Haute, IN

Sales and Marketing Manager / Production Manager

Most of my time with the Wheel Tough Company was with the sales, marketing and distribution side of a new line of products made with after market aluminum automotive rims. These rims were used to make furniture and outdoor cooking appliances such as grills and fryers. The primary end user was the show car enthusiast and race fans of NASCAR and IRL. During my time with this company I dealt with such organizations as NASCAR, Coca Cola, NAPA Brakes and Chassis, Snap-On Tools, Walmart, Petty Racing, Joe Gibbs Racing, Ace Hardware and many others. Products were sold in the USA, Canada and world wide. As Production Manager I ran the plant operations as well as set up assembly processes and flows. I helped design new products as well as equipment to help in the manufacturing process. I purchased parts and equipment, hired employees and managed all operations of production. May 1990 - September 1997

NOCHAR, Inc. Indianapolis, IN

Regional Sales Manager

I was responsible for sales and marketing of state of the art environmental and fire safety products in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Virginia. My responsibilities included training and educating government officials and large industries on this new technology. I was also responsible for the distribution, working side by side with local businesses as wholesale partners. I worked with and /or made presentations to federal, state and local government officials, fire and safety departments and organizations, and large and small corporations. I have dealt with The Department of Defense (all branches of the military), The Department of Energy (Savannah River), The Federal Department of Corrections (Prisons) and The Department of the Interior (Parks).

To Whom It May Concern;

I am writing to recommend Bruce Stakeman. I’ve had the pleasure of working directly with Bruce during his employment at the Human Resources Center as Work Services Supervisor. I have been Bruce’s direct supervisor at HRC, for approximately the past four years. During that time we’ve worked together on many projects and deadlines, so I fully understand his capabilities.

Bruce’s understanding of Customer needs has let him excel in customer service. He works incredibly hard to work with his Customers and to meet their needs. He is able to quickly adapt and make changes if the customer changes their mind about something at the last minute. While at the Human Resources Center Bruce is often faced with last minute coverage needs resulting in working long hours along with juggling his own work schedule to meet his many deadlines and attend to his varied duties. Frequently his time sheet reflects a 10 up to 13 hour day with many of these days beginning at 3 A.M. Bruce is very passionate about his work and gives 100% plus to get the job done. Bruce has a strong work ethic and takes attendance, punctuality and getting the job done seriously. He also expects the same from his employees. As well as meeting customer needs and meeting regulatory rules and laws Bruce has been responsible for working with his staff in training individuals with intellectual disabilities. From my observations I believe this is yet another area Bruce is an exceptional employee. He is attentive to the needs of the consumers served and can be described as fair and compassionate, but also provides clear guidance on worker expectations. He is motivated to improve the lives of these individuals.

I believe any employer would truly benefit from Bruce as their employee. I consider his enthusiasm and dedication to his work a tremendous asset as well as inspiring. Sincerely,

Karen Wolfe
