Graduated from Faculty of Science, Biochemistry department, Alexandria University:

Along 4 years in my faculty life, I studied Biochemistry, Microbiology, Botany, Zoology and Chemistry (Organic and Inorganic).

Quality Management master:

At this Master, I studied the following subjects and passed examination with A,A+& B+ score with total GPA 3.8

Courses are: Total Quality management, Contemporary management, Statistics for management Decision, Research methodology, Customer Relationship management (CRM), Quality Assurance, Competing in Global Environment, Management Information System, Statistical Quality Control, Group dynamic,

Business Process Reengineering, and Advanced topics in Quality Management.

Lab Director and Quality manager:

I have been worked from 2014 in AVC hospital`s laboratory as the lab manager and Quality manager for the hospital.

AVC lab has joint venture with Hassab Lab which became an accredited lab since 2011.

Leader of the quality team and gave a big hand in the preparation and gaining certification against ISO9001:2008 standards.

Lab manager duties are:

Put Policies and procedures for every process in the lab.

Follow up for Q.C and decision making for releasing results and equipment calibration.

Evaluating lab employees` for their daily work and behavior.

Determining responsibilities and delegate authorities to employees.

Follow up the equipment performance and contact the responsible person for maintenance.

Made some maintenance for equipment under supervision from the company engineer.

Interviewing the new hired chemists and evaluate their work knowledge.

Worked as freelancer with GLC and Middle East

Attended audits with the GLC audit team, in many organizations with different scopes against ISO 9001:2008,14001:2004 and 18001:2007

Audits were at organizations have the following scope: Maritime, Construction, Food preservatives, Fertilizing, Import & Export and Hospitals.

Microbiologist and Infection control:

I worked as microbiologist and a member of I.C team for 15 years in Alexandria Medical center (New-Anmc)

My role and responsibilities were:

Preparing media for cultivating cultures.

Making cultures for all body fluids on the appropriate media according to cultures natures`.

Bacterial Identification and counting.

Selection of the suitable antibiotics according to the bacterial type.

Making antibiogram (sensitivity test), determining the suitable antibiotics for it, and releasing of culture report`s.

Making Virology tests for all viruses (e.g. HBsAg, HBsAb, HCV Ab, TORCH… etc.) by ELIZA, RIBA and PCR technique.

Taking and cultivating Infection control swabs for ICU and Operating theaters, and reports releasing with a recommendation if needed.

Making purchasing deals with chemical companies providers.

Making daily inspection on ICU and operating theaters to ensure their commitment with I.C guidelines and instructions.

Preparing work for the department audits and conduct external audits as an auditee.

Withdrawing samples for patients at any age.

Helping in performing routine chemistry and hematology investigations (FBS, Kidney function, Liver function, PT, CBC, Urine and Stool analysis …etc.)
