The Jumeirah Open Beach Project (La Mer Project) is located in Dubai and situated between Pearl Jumeirah Island and Jumana Island which is still under construction. The project main component is consist of Demolition and removal of Existing beach Groynes and Breakwater Structures, Shore Protection, Reclamation, Soil improvement and Development of South and North Peninsula including Area "L". The Project includes reclamation of approx... 525,300 square meter land with approx.. 8.5 million cubic meters of sand, construction of 5.7km long Breakwater/Shore Protection with approx. 5 million tonnes of rock(Quarry run, Underlayer, Armour and Filter Material and geotextile material).

Ample scope of Offshore and Onshore work execution.

2.Port De La Mer- Measure Price contract for Formation of Port De La Mer

Location: Dubai, UAE

The Jumeirah Open Beach Project (La Mer Project) is located in Dubai and situated between Pearl Jumeirah Island and Jumana Island which is still under construction. The project main component is consisting of Shore Protection, Beach, Reclamation & Soil Improvement, Quay Wall, Crown Wall and Piling. The Project includes reclamation of approx... 160,000 square meter land area, construction of 1.7km long Breakwater/Shore Protection, and 1.2km of Quay Wall works. Ample scope of Offshore and Onshore work execution.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Development of Cost and Resource Loaded Base Line Schedule using Planning Software PRIMAVERA (P6 v7, 8.3 and 15.2) and planning Package and updating on a Weekly basis.

Revising Baseline Schedule as per project requirement.

Development of short term recovery program on MS project to catch up the delay

Preparation of Various Look-ahead Schedule viz-a-viz 2 Weeks and 2 Months Look-ahead

Preparation of Dashboards and presentation for top Management on Monthly/Weekly basis

Preparation of Weekly/Monthly Progress Report of Project for Client/Consultant.

To Coordinate with Site team and Technical office team for project progress and review on daily basis/ weekly basis and Monthly basis.

Tracking of Various progress deliverables, NOC approvals etc…

Performing delay analysis, preparation and submission of various delay events and EOT documents.

Interaction with JV Partners on various aspects of the project related to Programme, Variation Orders, Claims and EOTs at different stages of the project.

Preparation of Programme for EOTs and performing Delay analysis

To interact with CM/PM/TOM/MD and discuss the forecasting strategy of project progress.

Progress monitoring by Preparation of Various KPI’s, S-Curves and presentation for senior management.

Estimation of Plant and Manpower requirement for the Project based on standard norms and achieved productivity. Monitoring actual resources availability & analysing with Histograms

Monitoring & maintaining project compliance with project management standard practices, Quality & HSE standards, procedures and templates.

Client – Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Oil Operations (ADCO)

Project- EPC for ADCO Spiking Gas Compressor Project

Location- Abu Dhabi, UAE

The Project Scope includes design, procure & construct a facility to spike the gas from separator with a compressor train, reusing the same for future processing & to follow the No Flare Philosophy (Associated with UNFCCC (United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change)). Ample Scope of Pipe-rack and foundations (Civil works), Structures, Fireproofing, Insulation, UG/AG Piping Fabrication & Erection, Pipeline, Mechanical Equipment installation (S/R) & associated Electrical & Instrumentation works along with Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning works.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Project Control Management

Assigned as acting project control manager for two months. Responsible for the development and defining of various WBS, updating and maintenance of project Planning & scheduling system,

To develop a Schedule compliant with the selected execution strategy in order to mitigate the risks & reduce cost.

Development of Base Line Schedule using Planning Software PRIMAVERA (P6 V7, 8.2), MS Project & updating on regular basis.

Preparation of Weekly/Monthly/Three Months Look-ahead schedule & Progress Report of Project for Client.

Tracking and finalising scope changes of Civil; Structural Steel; Piping & Mechanical Equipment works and its effect on the overall project schedule

Presenting Project progress status & constraint to Client in Weekly/Monthly & Project Review Meetings.

Progress Measurement using S-Curves separately for Engineering Procurement and Construction, along with Overall Progress of the Project

To monitor and control the project progress, analyse and assess any delay and to propose corrective actions in order to mitigate risks and prevent any delay whenever required.

Preparation of Variation Claims for execution of works which comes under a change orders.

To Coordinate & assist with Contracts department for Preparation of EOT (Extension of Time) for the project.

Preparation of Executive Progress Summary Report / Presentations to the Top Management on Project Status for periodical (Weekly Meeting with CEO) Review.

To interact with PCM/CM/PM & issue Progress Reports to Client & Top Management on weekly/ monthly basis & discuss the forecasting strategy of project progress.

To Coordinate with Project Operation Teams, Engineering, Procurement and Construction and make them aware of the Project Milestones & critical activities to ensure project schedules are met.

To Coordinate with Client Operation and PMT Team on a weekly basis for Project Review.

Define and Optimise the necessary resources requirement for EPC&C or I phases

Estimation of Manpower Requirement for the Project based on standard productivity norms. Monitoring of actual resources availability & analysis using Histogram

Preparation of Project Progressive invoice based on project progress & key milestone achievements.

Preparation and Reshuffling of Project Budget.

Approval of subcontracts & Local Purchase orders in Oracle system managing the availability of sufficient Budget of the project.
