Qualifications Summary:

Production Section Head with over 5 years’ experience in large International, Hygiene FMCG, and multi-line facility, with a proven track record of achieving sustained improvements in quality, cost, and delivery functions.

In order to wrap this experience with an academic boundaries I had started preparing masters in business administration (MBA) on Nov2016 with expecting to complete it at the End of 2018.

In FINE; the world’s second largest Hygienic and converting technology. I have led the production team to Achieve, implement the required efficiency, waste, customer complaints Targets of our plant, and provided daily leadership Support in the plant related to the production management practices and another activities to deliver the key Hygienic and safety business results.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Baby Diapers Production Section Head- Acting as Production Manager, Fine Hygienic Paper co. lid. Nuqul Group. Egypt. - Absorbents Plant Oct 2014 – till now.

Managing the production department through effectively lead, coach and develop of 3 production engineers, a process engineer, and their subordinates (more than 150 operator including the shift based operators), in order to ensure the compliance of the whole production site (Machines & Employees )with the company’s operational objectives.

Develop, administer and maintain production practices and activities required to ensure the plant productivity and the products qualities are in compliance with the company standards and requirements within the desired costs.

Responsible for the yearly production budget allocation, and responsible for achieving its targets.

Support the quality assurance department in employing quality assurance methodologies.

Develop and implement cost saving and cost reduction projects in order to minimize the raw material & overhead cost.

Define the productivity measures with increasing the production accuracy.

Monitor and report the plant results with justifying the causes and the actions taken towards any deficiencies in any of the production targets (Machines Efficiencies, Waste percentage, products customer complaints, manufacturing costs).

Follow up with the maintenance department upon the production lines monthly preventive maintenance plan, and conducting the TPM practices).

Collaborate with the planning department to ensure the conformity of the production plan with the sales orders through conducting daily communication upon the progresses and the deficiencies occurred in the production floor, also through conducting a monthly (Sales and Operations) meeting with the planning and the sales managers in order to ensure the optimal fulfillment of the sales forecast.

Conduct Risk Management activities, FMEAs and ensure compliance to standards and regulations.

Conduct failure investigation of product complaint with developing corrective and preventive actions.

Project Manager for the technical projects (Machines Modifications & Modifications, Assembling and disassembling the production lines, and Installation of new machines.

Adult Diapers Production Engineer, Fine Hygienic Paper co. lid. Nuqul Group. Egypt. - Absorbents Plant Jun 2013 – Oct 2014.

Supervise the production line to ensure that finished products are meeting the standard specifications.

Conduct the required raw materials Trials on the production line to ensure that performance acceptance criteria are met.

Monitor and report the machine productivity and the waste percent.

Responsible for the cost related to the assigned line and the product quality through activating the WE Score and other integrated systems.

Integrate and develop the new production team members.

Follow up the preventive maintenance plan for the adult diapers production line.

Support the quality control engineers in conducting the quality control inspection within the assigned production line.

Responsible for implementing the cost saving projects and the total quality management practices related to his assigned production line.

Effectively interact with quality, planning, and marketing teams to maintain product supply and help introduce new products

Supervising production staff (1 supervisor + 30 operators included the shift based) in order to achieve the required production efficiency with the required waste targets, and product quality complied with the company standards.

Monitoring performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports (monthly production report, which includes the targets achievements and a justification followed by identifying the root cause and a corrective preventive action plans).

Key member in many projects held in Absorbents plant (cost saving team, problem solving team).

Responsible for receiving the raw materials from the warehouse, and the process of delivering them to the production lines, through managing the raw material transit supervisors and 3 workers.

Responsible for receiving the final product from the production line, and the process of delivering them to the finished goods warehouse, through managing the raw material transit supervisors and 3 workers.

Responsible for conducting the promotions done on the production hall, and controlling the outsourcing agencies related to the daily workers, through managing the production hall supervisors and 5 workers.

Responsible for improving the accuracy of the ERP System (Oracle), in order to increase the accuracy of the monthly waste report conducted from the system.

Responsible for control the raw material consumption.(Basis Waste)

Mechanical Engineer, AutoMac for automotive services . Cairo. Egypt. Jan 2012 – July 2012.

Worked as Workshop Engineer in Mechanical Maintenance department.

Handled a tasks in designing some mechanical Equipment's.

ACHIEVEMENTS:

Project team-Leader achieving zero customer complaints, (2016) FINE Diapers Factory.

Developed production process improvement plans & practices which increased the baby diapers production line daily productivity (From 600K diaper/day to 840K diaper/day).

Conducted SMED projects which reduced the baby diapers machine size change from Large to medium (from 12 hrs/change to 7 hrs/change).

Installation & Start-up project manager for 3 (Fameccanica - Baby Diapers) production lines.

Conducted Rootcause analysis, corrective & preventive action plans which reduced the plant total waste percentage (2nd grade + process waste) from 8% to 3.8%.

Developed & Implemented overtime reduction project which reduced (13 %) in the overhead cost.

Successes implementation of the Oracle (ERP) system in both production sites (Tissue production site & Diapers production site).
