Leader in Pork Production comprised of over 600 owned and partner operated farms. Partnered with Owner, CFO and business unit leaders to build technology strategies targeting strong business operations and financial performance.
Led technology team that provided systems and support for infrastructure, help desk, networks, telecommunications, finance, ERP, CRM, Data Warehouse and SharePoint applications. Supported vastly different environments for 750 employees, 200 company owned sites and 550 grower partners.
Responsible for administering $8M annual Cap/Ex budget and three (3) year roadmap while leading IT team to achieve business unit objectives. Included variables and complexities such as operational changes, proposed projects and departmental performance goals aligning with the business strategy.
Joined with infrastructure to establish Azure cloud services and VMware server technology to manage system architecture, data analytics and application development.
Revitalized a failing implementation of an Enterprise grower ERP. Utilized Flawless Execution framework to assemble project plan and build consensus of expectations among business leaders. Collaborated with executive team to stabilize Milling operations by implementing an enterprise order system collapsing four (4) disparate applications to standardize production processes and take advantage of financial integration. Directed team of twenty four (24) and achieved a 50% increase in finance automation, 100% milling standardization and slashed mill downtime by 70%.
Performed RFP analysis and initiated vendor presentations and negotiations while working with business leaders to drive package software selection to implement an enterprise Fleet management and CMMS system. Employed Flawless Execution planning method and managed 3rd party application development and business team of fifteen (15). This delivered the ability to track 700 vehicle assets from purchase to disposal throughout the supply chain, finance and distribution process.
