Practicum Rotation as a Nurse Practitioner Student 2016 to 2017
With the help of my preceptors three Medical Doctors and a Nurse Practitioner, I had the opportunity to work with patients across the life span from pediatric to adult patient of all ages. I was also fortunate to provide care to obstetrics and gynecological patients. My responsibilities included assessing, documenting health history, formulating differential diagnosis, interpreting laboratory results, interpreting EKG results, observing papsmares, performing cervical and virginal examinations, and ordering laboratory and ultrasound examinations.
