Accept position as Workshop Superintendent in desert region of Oman. I manage all aspects of workshop, eg. Personnell, spares ordering and buying, mechanical training and supervision.
Responsible for maintenance, repairs and servicing of fleet of Kenwood trucks and cranes.
Special-built Kenwood –winch trucks, Cat-loaders and 60t & 80t PPM; Kato: Tadano cranes.
Totalling more than 200 oil rig-move equipment.
I also do all administrative work related to workshop management, set up history files, write reports and report to desert manager. Also responsible for general safety and legal aspects of workshop.
Work solely with Oman (Arab) and Indian workforce, and learnt to understand Islamic laws and culture. There is currently 48 workshop personnel working under me.
While in charge of the workshop, set up all ISO standards in workshop and the workshop passed ISO inspection the first time.
Well known with HSE.
Also did Oman devensive drivers coarse, enabling me to drive left-sided vehicles as in all European countries and desert driving.
