Cashier, Concessions Management Service, Cinnabun, LAX T6 AUG 2005 April 2007
During my stay at CMS I worked as a cashier/ cook. A cashier's duties on any given day included include but aren't limited to tending customers, doing orders, putting order away, cleaning the restaurant, barista, smoothie making, baking, and primarily customer service. This was my first job and I learned a lot here. I only left CMS because I found a more profitable position at Fresh and Easy. But while at CMS I had no issues with either management or employee. it was a great work experience.
Management, Fresh and Easy Neighborhood Market
1
Manhattan Beach and Compton, CA,
April 2007 February 2009
Fresh and Easy is a great company to work for. I came on the team to help them open stores all over Southern California and while with the company I oversaw two stores. My duties included but were not limited to stocking and ordering, cashiering, cash handling, management, and employee training, inventory. Leading and coordinating the crew. Part time hiring committee. I also participated in various leadership/ management seminars. As a company that is beginning to settle and open to new neighborhoods Fresh and Easy felt the change in the economy and began laying off employees myself included and that was the reason for my departure. Lead Fleet Service, Menzies Aviation, LAX
April 2009 NOV 2010
My position at Menzies demanded excellent time management and great leadership to ensure that airline passengers made it to their destinations at their scheduled time. I made sure my crew worked swiftly and efficiently that was my priority as lead. This was a hard work, leading a crew or women aren’t always an easy task but while in charge I performed very well. I left Menzies after going on leave due to my pregnancy.
Sales Associate, GNC Inc. Store 1131 in Long Beach Aug 2011 Feb 2012
At GNC Inc. I learned so much about health and the most important components the body needs. I was involved in the competitive sales of sport nutrition, I could give advice and knowledgeable suggestions on what type of protein and vitamin as well as a thermogenic a person seeking to be fit should take based on age medical conditions and overall goal the person had in mind. I was aware of risks and some of the side effects that may occur and I could educate the customer in the right choices based on their individuality. I was also conducting inventory and reordering for the store, I did the promotional changes in the store as far as changing signage and price tags, I conducted conference calls with the entire region as well as the district managers, regional managers, and lost prevention. it was a different environment because I was dealing with the responsibility of a person's health and reaction to my suggestions in product choice. it was also a fun experience with a great team and no I have a better understanding of what living well really means.
