Team player, creative and hands-on skills in deep-tech elec- tromechanical projects, an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for product development from conceptual design to prototyping, and eventually, to mass production.
Matthew has 8 years of experience in human robotics. He received his PhD from NTU, Singapore (Ranked
11th in the World, 1st in Asia). During this time he went on multiple of scientific missions internationally, including Imperial College London, UK and Institut des Syste ́mes Intelligents et de Robotique, France. After PhD, he worked with couple of deep-tech start-ups to develop hands-on experience in dynamic management
roles. Later, he joined as Technology Manager in highly reputed Rehabilitation Research Institute of Singapore, a $100M joint investment institution by NTU, A*STAR and National Healthcare Group to perform research in rehabilitation. Finally, to bring his passion of giving back to society, he has co-founded ArtiCares, a company that offers tech based rehabilitation solutions.
