Implemented and managed PM programs and parts inventory system for sorting equipment, trolley systems, conveyor systems, steam tunnels, case erectors/cutters, industrial power equipment and energy management systems.
Safety: Lead and prepared our staff / facility to OSHA’s Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) audit in October 2015. Successfully reduced workers compensation dollars by 84% (4 year process) member of Corporate Safety Committee, managed safety committee and accident investigation committees.
Engineering Leadership: Working within the organizations strategic plan to solve operational challenges by building strong teams, partnering with operations and improving metrics. Accomplishments include process improvements, productivity improvements, quality improvements, material handling implementation and space utilization.
Labor Management Systems: Managed engineered work standards, reporting and systems associated with production operations and employee performance metrics. Optimized daily labor by matching employee performance to daily production workload. Annually reviewed standards to ensure they were equitable, credible and fair.
Enterprise Systems: Managed a two shift six day work week for production print run for Direct to Consumer business. Responsible for network systems hardware; PC’s, Wyse devices, RF devices, tablets, printers and copy machines. Correct and trouble shoots all systems issues to ensure production requirements are met.
Project Management: Managed all capital projects annually for the Lakeville Distribution Center. Yearly spend ~ $2 - $3 million dollars. Upgraded Logan sortation system, material handling systems, storage and retrieval racking systems, new Firestone roof, all software upgrades for Allen Bradley PLC’s, and controls, new power Industrial trucks, Motorola Radio Frequency devices, production tablets and Two Canon high speed production printers.
