Job Purpose:

To deliver and manage all commercial and operational aspects of the BASICXX Business in the store through effective team management and achieve sales as per plan for the store.

Key Accountabilities:

Operational-

Handling total store operations including maintenance, stuffing, maintaining effective administration systems and records, outstanding customer service etc.

Conformity of standards and operating procedures for operational efficiency across all areas in the store as per guidelines from corporate.

Accomplishing targets on a daily / weekly basis, achievements and action for short fall are taken.

Cascade store targets to the departments and drive team to meet these targets.

Continually monitor achievement of sales targets and take corrective measures where required with support from Area Manager.

Enhance sales through identification and analysis of practices and initiatives being implemented by the competitor’s stores and update regional/area managers on the same.

Enhance sales through identification and analysis of trends as per footfall, conversion rates/ratio, bill value(ATV),individual SKU sales, category etc.for the store.

Maximize footage returns by ensuring sales floor plan is laid out in proportion to concept and category and RedTag VM layout guidelines for sequential linkage with the support of the store VM.

Understand local customer needs and ensure this is delivered through right merchandize mix and service at the store.

Ensure accurate and timely implementation of seasonal look book/promotional look book/windows guidelines/styling guidelines/décor and POS guidelines at the store.

Engage staff with daily staff briefings for sales plan achieved, department contribution, top sellers, conversions etc.

Conduct performance appraisals of all the store staff.

Manage staff scheduling to optimize resource allocation and to ensure adequate staff availability on the floor at all times.

Ensure minimization of shrinkage levels at the store as per target.

Conduct training for sales advisors for minimization of shrinkage and shop lifting and reduction of product mishandling instances by customers or employees.

Ensure a robust cash control in store through the implementation of the SOP for cash/safe management and till management strategy in the store.

Ensure store is rated high in the cash control audit, operational audit, SOP audit etc.

Ensure minimization of costs by optimal authorization of funds and operational expenses like stationery, conveyance, phone,staff welfare etc.

Foster the highest standards of customer service excellence at the store.

Conduct daily store walks for delivering great ready to trade stores for customers.

Build a connect with the customers and understand customer need by meeting customers weekly and maintain a log book to record the same.

Responsible for protection and correct storage of company assets, POP, stationary materials or consumables and fixtures.

Mentoring the new joined staff and make them feel comfortable in working environment.

Facilitating active participation in company’s future diversification in any type of solution business.

Tracking the stocks, inventory & giving feedback to the buyers as to how the quantities can be worked out.

Formulating reports from the floor level and report to the senior management ensuring adequate stock balance is available at the store to keep the business healthy.

Devising day to day reports, weekly reports, monthly reports etc. on store activities to area manager as well as regional manager.
