Job Responsibilities

Raising RFI, MIR and WIR on various stages of Structural Steel Erection & Fabrication.

Preparing Hand Over Certificate for the Hand Over of Structural Steel Assembly.

Inspection of the Structural Steel Erection & Fabrication as per the approved ITP.

Hands on experience in the construction of flow lines and installation of well head in Water Alternate Gas (WAG) Wells.

Reviewing the mark up drawing for the weld joint identification, spool identification, NDT requirements.

Reviewing and verifying WPS, Welder qualification certificates with respect to ASME SEC 1X, ASME B31.3, API 1104, ISO 13847 and SHELL DEP documents.

Inspection and monitoring prefabrication of piping, welding, NDT, blasting and painting activities in the workshop.

Preparing and reviewing WPS, Conducting PQT & WQT for In-Service line welding.

Raising RFI’s at various stages of construction and co-ordinate with the client inspector for the inspection point as per the Project ITP.

Inspection and monitoring of site installation of well head piping and flow line construction as per the ADCO specification and SHELL DEP documents.

Providing NDT clearance and test packs to the construction for the hydro testing of Well Head, Loop and Flow Line as per ADCO specifications and SHEEL DEP documents.

Conducting line check and identifying the punch items.

Witnessing, conducting hydro test and coordinate with client inspectors to close the test pack and punch items

As-built preparation and submission for approval from the client.

Final inspection of the Well head, Loop, Flow line and Tie in point and confirm all the items in the hand over checklist is completed and hand over the well to the EMPD

Previous Job Responsibilities

Implementation and maintain the quality records and documents as required by Integrated Management System (ISO procedure) throughout the projects.

Reviewing and verifying relevant Engineering drawing and QA/QC documents like QAP, ITP, WPQR & WPS as per client and consultant requirements.

Have knowledge about the ISO Standards, codes & Standards like API 1104, ASME B31.3, ASME SEC II, ASME SEC V, ASME VIII, ASME SEC IX, AWS D1.1, ISO 13847

Familiar with SHELL DEP-ADCO DOC.

Providing technical support for engineering department in material selection, weld joint design, NDT Requirements.

Co-ordination with Third party and Client inspectors and NDT Personnel.

Performing Welder Qualification Tests for various welding procedure specifications as per ASME section IX & B31.3, API 1104, and AWS D1.1 etc.

Inspection of Raw materials as per ASME, ASTM, EN Standards and confirm the material against the material test certificates (MTC’s).

Inspection on different Specification/Grades of CS, LTCS, SS and Low Alloy Steel Materials, (Pipes, Pipe fittings, Structural profiles) and its welding.

Review of Material Test Certificates for Raw Materials like Pipes, Fittings, Flanges and Welding Consumables.

Issues non-conformance reports (NCRs) for non-conforming work, qualified personnel, materials and equipments.

Inspection for welding consumables such as composition, type, grade and baking as per WPS and welding consumable control method as required by ISO Standard.

Verify the records of Calibration and Inspection of equipment like welding machine, holding oven, quivers, PWHT equipment etc.

Preparation of day-today activities, progress monitoring and reporting.

Take part and discuss issues in pre inspection and weekly meeting with Client and TPI

Carrying out the welding inspection before, during and after welding operation as per approved test plan, relevant engineering drawing, international standard and project specification

Inspection of spools fabrication, spool release, spools erection, pipe alignment.

Witness, evaluation and interpretation of NDT techniques like RT, UT, MT, & PT. Co-ordinate with NDT personal and making arrangement to complete the job in time.

Radiographic films review, interpretation and preparation of reports as per project specification/piping, pressure vessel codes.

Monitoring the welders performance through repairs and controlling

Radiographic films review, interpretation and coordinate with the welding supervisor/foreman to extract the defects location as well as the extent of repair to be done.

Inspection of Positive Material Identification for alloy steel and stainless steel materials.

Inspection of preheating, post heating and post weld heat treatment activities.

Reviewing and checking of As-Built/Red marked Drawings as per the actual site condition.

Undertaking line checking through Structural drawing, isometric drawing, P&ID and preparation of Test Pack for Pneumatic & Hydro tests.

Performing visual inspection and conducting the necessary test (surface profile, WFT & DFT) after surface preparation and painting as per client specification.

Preparation of painting inspection reports and raising RFI for client/third-party approval.

Inspection release and witnessing of Pneumatic & Hydro testing procedure followed by Client/Consultant’s Specification.

Prepares and issues inspection reports per company and project requirements.

Issues Inspection Release when material, equipment or fabricated item is acceptable and released from inspection.

Co-ordination with Client and construction crew for Punch list clearance, Reinstatement and to carry out final inspection and preparation of final documentation dossier.
