EMC / Acord Insurance - Participated in the development of the EMC / Acord Insurance Standard Web Demo. My responsibilities involved developing maps that translated XML data into a flat file format and then sending that flat file to a server via HTTP adapter for corresponding data information. Next, translating the returned data from server back into XML and then displaying this returned data via web page for client response.

Healthcare / Insurance / Claims: August 2001 - November 2001 - while employed at Mercator

Humana Corporation – Assisted with the integration and creation of approximately 70 maps at Humana Corporation of Louisville, KY. These maps formats were XML to EBCDIC and EBCDIC to XML. Helped resolve comp-3 field issues in mapping translation and provided client with knowledge in Mercator mapping, configuration and design.

Also provided assistance with their Integration Flow Design scheme and helped trouble shoot errors with their routing map functionality. Assisted with the development of their 70 maps, which enable them to meet their development deadline.

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama – Provided assistance in helping client generate a 997 transaction in Enterprise Broker.
