Swing shift lead over packer department

Weir Minerals

I worked in the long swell packer department at weir, we laid rubber on these pipe either by hand for special batch or by machine (stripwinder) then cured them in giant auto claves after which we would use a 26' lathe to machine them down to size. More specifically to myself I would keep the orders in line checking what was next, make sure we had everything needed to complete that order some times pulling 485 East 2800 North, North Ogden, UT84414

parts myself. Keep my guys on task on target and ahead of the last shift. (Working an off shift, I know that we get the blame for anything and everything because nobody is there to defend ourselves. So my practice was always have more accomplished than the last shift.) And making sure the next shift is set up with everything they needed for a seem less transition.

Then I would have to gather the paperwork from multiple stations and compile it into one set for the customers. The whole time working very close with the engineers to assure quality, the salesmen to better plan our delivery dates are met, and quality control so myself and my team knew what was expected. Interior finish lead

Advanced Modular Manufactiring

We did interior finish on skid houses for the oil fields, gang showers, even school houses.I was in charge of taking my guys in after quality control had gone through and tagged all the issues. If they were interior finish issues I my team would handle it whether it be minor touch up paint or replacing paneling, sheetrock, or flooring. If it was another department like electrical or plumbing I would either repair myself or instruct that department to do the repairs. We worked very closely with all departments in order to assure the quality of our product whether it would be the architect to help visualize an idea all the way to the plumber who may damage a wall and needed help finding another way of doing his job.
