Client: Best Hypnotherapist LLC, CT Jan 2016 – Till date

Role: Senior QA Analyst/Automation Engineer

The application is a Web-based portal for therapist and clients of therapist, that enables the users to request the appointment, pay for the session on the client portal and therapist portal helps manage the appointments and run the reports. Application was developed in .Net C# and SQL Server using Scrum Methodology in the Agile process.

Responsibilities:

Developed Test Cases based on the User Stories to cover overall functionality of the application.

Developing the Selenium Automation test scripts using the Web driver and followed the data driven test framework driving the data through Excel sheet using Apache POI.

Created and executed automated software test plans, test cases and test scripts to uncover, identify and document software problems and their causes.

Using the concepts of Object Oriented Programming like Inheritance, Polymorphism, encapsulation and abstraction in developing the Selenium test automation scripts.

Executed the test scripts using Test NG framework.

Based on page library, developed Selenium test cases in Java using Junit framework

Reviewed the User Stories, Wireframes, Business Requirement Documents and the Technical Specifications.

Developed Test Cases to cover overall functionality of the application.

Developed automated test scripts using UFT.

Implemented Data Driven Testing, created user defined functions, checkpoints, reusable actions, Environmental Variables & Relative Path and managed shared Object Repositories. Followed the hybrid framework in designing the scripts.
