Project Description

CVS Health is an innovative Pharmacy company acquired with Target to help people for better health. This project is about POS (Point of sale/service) of Target CVS. This point of sale application provides interaction between sale’s person and customer. As a Senior Business/Systems Analyst I was involved in developing a POS support system to create purchase order based on CVS system prescription information and customer can add any item over the counter which is not part of doctor prescription. This helps CVS to provide an accessible, supportive and personalized health care experience to customers and maintain data of transactions in CVS centralized RX connect system.

Responsibilities

Analyzed the scope document and the current business processes to gain better understanding of the project.

Conducted GAP Analysis after analyzing AS-IS business process and the TO-BE business process.

Experienced in grooming product backlog and release backlog when there is a change, feedback or technical debt.

Project 1:

The project was for Health application migration from in-house developed application (Access line Application) to New Application. The project was aimed at reorganizing and standardizing claims process by integrating business rules. To increase automation and provide advanced interfaces for faster data exchange with claims tracking system and back office systems. Besides that, it includes implementation of new ICD10 codes.

Project 2:

This project was to develop an online support system EHR (Electronic Health Records) for all the provider side users. It was for a hospital to convert all the hard data to electronic format and ease the access to these records amongst the facilities and demographics.

Responsibilities

Analyzed existing business units, business process, System / Application and their Interfaces through open-ended discussions, brainstorming sessions and prototyping.
