Job Description

Stage wise inspection carried out as per QAP Construction (AG & UG) of Material Identification, Fit-up, Weld Visual, NDT Clearance, PWHT, Hardness, PMI, Final Dimension, spool clearance, LHS preparation, Erection Fit up, Loop clearance, Box-up etc.

Fabrication, Dismantling & Erection of various Construction material (GI, CS, SS, DSS, LTCS, CS NACE, IBR, P91Alloy, P22, P11).

Inspection of Inward Raw materials as plates, pipes, fittings, valves, gaskets, rolled sections, Fasteners, consumables & Non-consumables.

Review and Approval of Welding Procedure Specification (WPS), Welding Procedure Qualification Record (WPQR) as per ASME Sec IX & AWS D1.1 Standard.

Familiar with reading & review of Execution drawings, ISO-PID and interpretation of weld and Preparing Fit-up and Weld reports, RT reports & LHS for Construction related activities.

Inspection of welds for PMI, Hardness measurement as per QAP for the specified material

Witnessing the Hydro test, NDT test & Pneumatic test as per project specification and Welder qualification tests in process of SMAW, GTAW.

Preparation of third party inspection for static equipment on heat exchanger and pressure vessels. Final checking of equipment in for box up for shutdown inspection.

Interpretation of Radiographic films and reviews of preheat, post heat & PWHT chart as per Project specification ASME codes and standards.
