Experience Record
March 2010 till now
General Manager of GIS, Hydraulic and SCADA systems in BAWADC
Currently woking in developing an integrated system includes all the existing departments inside the general department, for example:
How to benifit from the GIS in hydraulic analysis department, network researches, maintenance follow up programs and in re-qualification of personnel of other departments to easily handle the available informations, therfore:
-All informations have been collected and stored in the GIS related server and then uploaded to the Web to be available for all departments.
-All data have been uploaded to Google to facilitate the usage of these informations.
Developed a time schedule to equip network with hydraulic analysis software progeams to perform the necessary calibiration and compare them with the existing situation, then take back the updated data to GIS, this facilitats any required reseaches for the department of network researches to improve network performance and connections to un-served areas
Information provision for maintenance superviors in order to implement routine maintenance schedules and also emergency maintenance.
Updates are being done on GIS whenever avaliable.
A complete archieve for all exuctive and suggested drawings is developed to facilitate their access and for quality control.
Provided informations hard copies to be avialable for the concerned persons. For instance: developed wastewater network albums with the existing informations for the people who prefere the hard copies espicially in the field work.
Currently working on survey and conrol of plants and network project SCADA system and preparing capable staff to operate and maintain the system
Developed specification decuments for future systems either for hardware or software.
Improvement work is implemented by the system responsible staff
Expanded the improvement work to include all the distribution centers and re-qualified the system staff outside the main center.
Tested the new system successfully.
Curently all data are being transfered between distribution centers and headquarter smoothly for continuous data update and control the quality in the headquarter by the qualified staff.
On-going the implementation of different department special applications.
Developed work orders archieve:
The objective of the archieve is to keep all informations in the way the were originally received specially with the signatures and approvals to be an official ducument and to maintain the information. Following is the archieving procedure:
-All the available informations and maps has been uploaded on google maps after creating a company special account which enable any putside or inside user to display our related informations and maps of the logging into our account using the password.
-Improved cadastral department GPs equipment for survey with high accuracy have been purchased to assist the demartment in servey work using total stations to deal directly with American, European and Russion sSattelites plott the cadadtral on the earth globe directly with the reqiured plot. This will facilitate poditioning of the surveyed spots in their locations directily by GIS
Requalified wastewater engineers who work in GIS and hydraulic analysis by On Jop Training, using Sewer Gems to enable work and improve engineer’s performance on wastewater network analysis.
