1. Production Planning & Control Engineer Toyota Indus Motor Company January 29th 2015 to May 17th 2017 Major Duties involved:

Oversee production of vehicles at each shop in a timely manner to ensure 100% customer satisfaction and to avoid late delivery charges. Ensure shop floor discipline. Sub-ordinate development and training for increased productivity.

Production Planning & Controlling to ensure proper line up of vehicles to balance volume and variety (HEIJUNKA) for optimizing TAKT time and work load at weld and assembly lines as well as to avoid loss of production due to paint defects at paint shop.

MRP execution based on monthly production plan to ensure parts availability at the time of production.

Production Monitoring to ensure line in sequence is properly followed at targeted efficiency to maintain standard work in process (WIP) within each shop and buffers.

Manage Painted Body & Painted Parts Logistics to ensure that body and its parts are painted in compliance and Just in time supply of painted parts at Assembly shop at the time of vehicle line-in

Maintain KANBAN System to control and visualize production of vehicles and to ensure just in time availability and traceability of parts and vehicles at each shop.

Escalate production loses and downtime as per company defined criteria to upper management. Lead PDCA to investigate, develop & implement preventive measures to avoid future occurrence.

Maintain departmental health and safety in order to prevent near misses and accidents. Identify possible hazards and implement preventive measures to avoid them.
