Manufacturing Manager
Responsible for daily technical, facility and manufacturing activities, while managing 12 direct and 125 hourly employees. Facilitating infrastructure capacity redundancy upgrade which added 60 HP air compressor, 30-ton chiller, 125 ton water tower for processing water, and two new 15 HP process pumps. Launched plant wide recycling program, where all scrap pallets, corrugate, plastic shrink wrap, scrap purging and office paper are loaded daily and sent to a local recycler. And leading current plant expansion that added nine injections molding machines and support infrastructures (water, air and electric utilities).
Key Accomplishments:
Functioning as liaison between owner and contractor for new 22,000 sq. ft. warehouse expansion.
Responsible for daily manufacturing activities including technical support, processing and direct labor.
Designated facility safety leader responsible for lift training, LOTO, environmental and sustainability training.
Updating current company PM program to include oil analysis and infrared electrical-mechanical scans.
Daily communication with CEO on plant initiatives and production attainment.

Senior Technical/Engineering Manager (Plant Manager) Mogadore, OH 2008 - 2012
Managed all plant's technical and engineering projects, and daily activities. Oversaw eight supervisors, six process Engineers and 152 hourly employees. Developed and maintained a $44 million annual budget. Responsible for all new tool launches, molding machines, all supporting automation purchases, and plant process engineering. Company saw a 5% consecutive annual productivity improvement.
Key Accomplishments:
Coordinated machine placement for plant consolidation project, which came in on time and within budget.
Project lead for $8 million machine and robot capital upgrade project, which included numerous vendor visits for spec meetings, factory acceptance tests, machine and robot integration tests, and final installation.
oProject was completed on time and $600,000 under budget.
Successfully launched 8 product lines (50 new tools) on time, on cost and on quality in the first 2 years (60% of current plant production).
Generated $5.3 million in productivity improvements towards manufacturing overhead in 2010.
Produced $320,000 cost savings in SMED program.
Collaborated with quality team to reduce internal Cost of Quality to record low (<1%) and sustain level.

Responsible for all daily activities involved in running the manufacturing, pack and assembly side of the operations. Managed eight supervisors and 265 hourly employees.

Accomplished significant contributions in the Mogadore and Canton Plant consolidation and restructuring.
Coordinated and oversaw all staffing for 80 injection molding machines and 4-pack assembly lines.
Launched the 5s program achieving 5S in manufacturing side of operation in four months.
Executed label straightness program to improve store brand integrity and presentation.
Promoted and developed multiple team members to expand their responsibilities within the organization.

Managed manufacturing, pack, and assembly operations, and directed four supervisors and 132 hourly employees.
Key Accomplishments:
Staffed 45 injection molding machines, and hired 3 supervisors to help start up the facility when the continuous operation schedule was implemented.
Recruited, interviewed, and hired 60 hourly employees in a four-week timeframe for the plant ramp up.
Organized/implemented 5s and DuPont STOP to the manufacturing floor and roll out audits to sustain the projects.
Assisted in closing Canton facility and distribution of WARN notices to all manufacturing team members.
Master Scheduler - Canton, OH – 2003 - 2004
Responsible for the day-to-day planning, and scheduling attainment for the Canton Facility.
Key Accomplishments:
Introduced DuPont STOP to the plant
Prioritized and scheduled 40 injection molding machines.
Worked between two different facilities to manage WIP for the Canton/Wooster operations.
Assembled a kanban for all components (color, corrugate, resin, and labels) and maintained correct inventory levels at the Canton facility.
Assisted with the start up of the Canton facility, from the initial planning to final stages.
