WORK EXPERIENCE:

Dispatcher, Fresh Express

I would check in the truck drivers and coordinate their loading process based on there appointment times and have their trucks loaded based on the specs for that particular carrier. I would also issue work to the loaders on our docks using the QMS to load the trucks with the many different products that we manufactured at our Salinas plant. I would inspect the trailers to ensure proper temperature and cleanliness of the trailer prior to load. I would answer any questions the drivers or there carriers dispatcher had about the load they were picking up. We would also keep detailed information about the arrival, departure time and various items that had to be cut from the load to ensure on time delivery.
