RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist site management on issues relevant to quality and in the implementation of the project’s QHSE system.

Implementation of Quality Control Procedures (QCP’s), Inspection & Testing Plans (ITP’s) and job specific procedures for providing more efficient onsite construction work as per applicable codes and standards without any increment in cost.

Involve in qualification & implementation of Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQR).

Monitoring / Witnessing all the Welding, Fabrication & Erection related activities as per client approved Inspection & Test Plan/s, Quality Control procedures.

Responsible for all inspection activities for pipe spooling, spool installation, field-welding of interconnecting piping, bolt torque, fit-up inspection, line inspection, leak-testing.

Ensure effective planning, execution and conduct all inspection of Equipment (Rotary & Static), Pressure vessel, Heat Exchanger, Compressor, piping, welding, NDE, PWHT, hardness etc.

Inspection of Oil storage tanks as per API 650.

Witness of WQT as per ASME IX. Ensure all welders are properly qualified in accordance with governing codes. Managing welder qualification test record (WQT) as per applicable International Standards of Welding.

Ensures that all FAT / SAT tests and inspections are performed, witnessed, and documented in accordance with approved procedures. Inspection of piping materials identification as per isometric drawings. Inspection of Material and Review Mill Test Certificates (MTC).

Continually maintain a methodical system of compiling or recording inspection results, and monitor and update equipment inspection history records.

Plans and coordinates QA/QC activities, to ensure inspection events are in accordance to approved Inspection &Testing Plans.

Managing a Multi-discipline team of Inspectors, NDE Team and providing them guidance to carry their work activities as per Client’s Specification.

Control and maintain quality record of NDT percentage and welder’s percentage. Review of RT films and NDT reports. Control & maintain all quality documents and registers.

Reinstatement of piping systems after completion of all hydro testing activities.

Execute and develop quality audit of Sub-contractors inspection documentation works to assure that the required forms used in testing submitted are approved by client representative.

Review and sign off the Inspection check sheets relating to ITP (welding activities, dimensional check, elevations, alignments and non-destructive examinations).

Issuance of NCR with investigation for its root causes and closes on submission of valid corrective/preventive measures.

Preparation of Test Packages, witness hydrostatic tests, leak tests including final walk down and generate punch lists with identification of necessary repairs and modifications.

Closing of punch list especially "A" punch items prior to pressure testing

Pneumatic test inspection for all Reinforcement pads.

Preparation of final QC dossiers for handing over to the client and maintain proper filling system (as per approved procedure) with full traceability for retrieving the documents.

Conduct the weekly site quality walks with client to make sure the implementation of quality standards. Weekly project meeting and report to the QA/QC Manager.
