Working on most challenging project of Malaysia (E6), Drilling Three ERD wells (18000 ft) and five MRD wells (15000 ft) with 6000 ft horizontal section in 70 ft thick oil Rim. E6 is a unique project with shallow hydrocarbon (gas bearing sand), Smart completion, In-situ gas lift, and AICD in lower completion.

I contributed to $60mln savings, with optimizing the well design, Re-positing platform, Casing While Drilling, AICD, DDV and Optimized logistics.

Demonstrated commitment to HSE by actively promoting Goal Zero, Life Saving Rules, DROPS, MOC and use of Safety Tools for both the project staff and contractors.

I work on the Design and Optimizing Well Design calculations and Concept selection. An integrated design approach with the Drilling Operations team, Venture subsurface team, FEED (Front End) and the Logistics team.

2011 – 2014 Shell China, Beijing, Well Eng. And Technical Assurance

I worked in Beijing as a Well Engineer for Changbei Unconventional Tight Gas Project, which was the largest onshore venture between a Chinese entity and Shell, with thin and complex braided-channel sandstones of 50-115ft thick and 6500 ft of horizontal section of Dual-lateral wells. Economically challenging project, due to smaller production volume compared to conventional reservoirs. The main advantage was our ability to drill hundreds of wells to recover the reserves. We reduced the average well cost from $15mln to $8.25mln.
