Project Description: The State of California’s Employment Development Department (EDD) provides over $15B each year in benefit programs including Unemployment Insurance (UI) and Disability Insurance (DI) to CA citizens in need.

For modernizing significant portions of its legacy paper-based systems to allow for faster claims processing and payments, and decreased fraud. EDD developed two online Applications SDIO and UIO Applications. On top of these Online Applications EDD migrating their Online Applications Identity Management System from its current Oracle IdM 10g version to the latest Oracle IdM stack, and to implement an enterprise self-service portal that can be used across multiple benefit programs administered by EDD. For the SDI and UI applications to work with EDD’s IdM 11g version and the new enterprise self-service portal. IdM Oracle Upgrade (IOU) project made application changes to Unemployment Benefits Services (CUBS and UI Online) and State Disability Insurance Online (SDIO) applications for both external and internal users. During this Upgrade EDD Developed single sign-on portal called as Benefit Programs Online, for registrations and single Login for both SDI and UI Online external users.

Project Description: The Client Login project is necessary to ensure that service representatives can assist customers who have migrated to the new User ID. It assists the client in creating New User Ids, migrates the existing 10X IDs to the new User IDs. Client Login supports various other features like Authenticating User, Setting Account/User Fraud Indicator, Managing account linking & De-Linking accounts, Block/Unblock SSN and Updating the user friendly email id’s. Through Client Login, the service representatives can search User Account numbers related to a particular User Id.
