Project Manager/Finishing Line Reliability, 2014-Present

Plan, manage, coordinate, and execute diverse, complex projects with all deliverables completed on-time and on-budget. Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure project deadlines met. Evaluate and analyze reliability issues to improve quality and yields.

Accomplishments:

Completed $9M slab reheating furnace revamping project ahead of scheduled time (less than 3 months period) in phases, increasing furnace availability from 75% to 100%.

Prioritized and overhauled shearing line equipment, increasing equipment reliability 55% to 80%

Successfully implemented and monitored tribology program through oil analysis, avoiding all catastrophic failure of equipment.

Manager/Director, Mechanical Maintenance

Managed entire maintenance of plate mill and shear lines. Guided workers and supervisors in preventive and predictive maintenance of hydraulic automatic gauge control systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic operated components, including Servo valves and equipment in 2-stand reversible steel rolling mills and shears.

Accomplishments:

Introduced high-pressure primary descaling system, resulting in enhanced equipment reliability and improved quality.

Designed and rerouted all mill hydraulic lines for automatic gauge control, eliminating frequent failures in the system.
