Multi-Vendor Pricing System (MVPS) - Managed all phases of this 10 person, $1 million project for 6 months. MVPS was the first internal web based application at TIAA-CREF. Data and functions were converted from ADABAS to SQL Server and ORACLE databases. MVPS provided an open platform to channel pricing data from any possible vendor to multiple internal departments. The team used a two-tier design approach. Business logic resided in SQL Server and Oracle stored procedures while the users were provided with an elegant web interface. Supervised and directed the work of other developers and designed normalized backend databases. Conducted detailed code reviews of Oracle and SQL Server stored procedures and ASP applications. Stressed ease of maintenance and standardization of coding techniques. Worked with users to define the scope of work and coordinated acceptance tests. Provided production support and maintenance for 7 years.

Unit and Net Asset Value Calculator and General End of Day applications - Led a team of 3 developers to create a mission critical application to verify and adjust data to close each business day.
