»ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Involved Pre inspection and Raise the RFI (Request for inspection) for different stages according to Inspection test Plan)

Receiving inspection of raw materialas per purchase order and ensure mechanical, chemical properties as per code and specification requirement.

Review of mill certificates, consumable test certificates and calibration certificates of welding machines, ovens, portable ovens, inspection tools etc.

Review drawings & revise the drawing if there is any change,and request for drawing revision to Engineering dept.

Responsible for Incoming, In process &Final inspection.

Ensuring that the machined, forged, Castings & pipes are as per drawing requirements.

Well experience in QC instruments & Equipment’s.

Witnessing NDE Inspection RT/MT/PT/UT/ and review of reports.

Monitoring of welding consumables while its subjected to Proper baking provided in oven.

Monitoring fit-up and welding activities for materials like welding in different process PTAW,SAW,GTAW & SMAW is in compliance with the approved WPS, Reviewing the required WPS, PQR, WPQR asper ASME Applicable codes, AWS & Project Specification.

Monitoring the welder performance and welding activities to ensure work is being carried out in accordance with the approved welding procedure.

Experience in Handling of coating Inspection instruments / gauges which includes Climatic condition Instrument, DFT, Pin hole Detectors, Adhesion testers.

Responsible for System Credit Note, Pre Dispatch Inspection.

Raising Of NCR against and Closing of NCR by getting CAPA, RCA from Vendors.

5’S activities in inspection area.
