Visual inspection of welds & NDT evaluation with respect to line description table.

Involving of project quality audits & monitoring of project quality index.

Preparing inspection reports and other relevant documents.

Co-ordinate with construction, testing group and QC department in the preparation test requirement of each test pack and facile close out of any outstanding punch items.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Material receiving Inspection as per Project standards and specifications.

Preparation/Maintaining of QA/QC documents such as Fabrication Procedure, Inspection Test Plan and Work Instruction.

Involved in carrying out QC activities during Fabrication of Pipe lines.

Inspection of Materials, association of Mill Certificates, Dimensional checks, Condition of Materials, Documenting and Reporting of Non-Conformity (if any) to Specifications.

Inspection of Welding Consumables and Equipments, Checking of Storage and Baking of Electrodes, Verifying all Welding Parameters according to Approved WPS.

Coordinate with QA/QC Supervisor for some discrepancies and their solutions.

Stage Inspections (Check Joint Fit-ups, Seam Orientation, Pipe no., Heat no., Alignment, Visual Inspection & Numbering).

Involved in Scheduling, Monitoring & Coordinating with NDT Technicians.

Identifying the Material (Pipes, Flanges, and Fittings etc) as per the material take off list as per Isometric drawings during the fabrication.

Preparing Inspection Reports and other relevant documents.

Knowledge of Preparing the Quality Plan as per the Client/Project Requirements.

Knowledge of Preparing the Inspection Test Plan (ITP) as per project requirement.

Site surveillance to check the construction work and give comments it necessary according to standard installation.

Co-ordinate with construction, testing group and QC department in the preparation test requirement of each test pack and facile close out of any outstanding punch items.

Erection of Piping system as per approved Isometric drawings.

Preparation/Verification of Inspection request prior to accept the Construction Piping / Welding work, Pressure Testing and Releasing of Fabricated Pipe lines in order to prepare Certification for the completed items.

Verify that Welding being performed is in accordance as per the applicable WPS and monitor time to time that variables are within limits permitted in the applicable WPS.

Checking of weld Joint preparation before Welding as per Clients Specification.

Check Fit-up, Bevel edge, Root gap, Root face, Dimensional tolerance etc.

Reviewing Welding Procedure Preparation according to ASME section IX.

All related Piping Quality Control Procedures and Test Package Verifying / Review.

Monitoring daily Quality Control in Fabrication and Erection of Piping / Pipelines.

Fit-up, Welding & Hydrostatic Inspection for Metallic & Non Metallic Piping activities for Shop Joints and Field Joints.

Cross checking the Piping/Pipelines using P & ID and Fit-up and welding using Approved ISO. Drawings for as built.

Prepare detailed records and reports at all inspections conducted at the site and maintain the Quality control documentation

Carry Out Inspections Vendor Jobs / Sub Contractor Jobs/Suppliers as per Specification and Standards

Daily reporting for QC activities with QC & Construction Representative.

Line checking and Punch listing as per Isometric and Layout drawings.

Reviewing and Test package Verification as per Project Procedure and Requirements.

Verifying Calibration of Welding machines, Welding Consumables Oven, Welding/Piping Instruments, Manifold, Pressure Gauge and Safety relief valve as per Project Specification / Procedure.

Witnessing and Inspecting of Hydro Test, Pneumatic Test, Gravity Test, Leak test and Air blowing.

Reinstatement as Project Procedure and Requirements.

Witnessing and Inspecting of NDT Inspections.

Responsibility for the working area and ensure Work with Quality with Safety.

Survey lines during welding at various stages like Root pass, Hot pass, Fill up, Capping.

Conducting Welders tests as per WPS references with ASME sec IX

Visual inspection of weld visuals.

Arranging the client inspection every day and making daily progress reports.

Calibration of welding rectifier and DC generators.

Calibration of portable oven and electrode baking oven

Welder qualification record and shall conform to approve welding procedure specification.
