Verifying the material certification, product certification, manufacture data book and other quality records to ensure that the document meets the specified requirements.

Prepare surveillance reports about any deficiencies in site and send to all concerned Engineers for rectification and if no action taken transfer this to OSDR / NCR after discussion with QA/QC Manager.

Ensure that an effective and efficient Quality/HSE Management System is established, implemented and maintained in the Construction Field to achieve these objectives.

Make sure that all ITP, QCP, QCF, MS, QC Procedure and other relevant projects documents are followed through during inspection and compliance with project specifications, IFC/AFC drawing and follow the International Standards and Inspections being carried out as per planned schedule.

Review Contractor’s submittals Inspection test plan (ITP), Quality Control Plan, Quality Control Forms, Method Statement relevant QC documents and ensure that all Inspections being carried out as per approved documents.

HSE: I have handsome SAFETY awareness against personal safety as well as plant safety, Housekeeping, uses of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Confined Spaces and Area Classification. I have attended HSE Training courses like Working at Heights, H2S Awareness Training and HSE Management Training. Involved in preparing Job Safety Analysis and Risk Assessment.

Codes & Standards: I am well familiar with International codes & Standards like ISA, IEC, IEEE, API, NEMA, NEC, BS and ISO standards. Familiar with the following Saudi Aramco Standards (SAES, SAMSS, SAEP, SAER, GI STANDARD).

Area Classification: I have good knowledge and working experience in respect of Hazardous Area Classification, Ingress Protection (IP) rating and Temperature ratings, gases groups according to International Standards like ISA, BS, IEC, NEMA etc.

PTW: I have good knowledge and working experience according to PTW instructions. Sound knowledge of Cold, Hot & Spark Potential PTW’s.

CATHODIC PROTECTION SYSTEM:

Impressed Current (ICCP) and Sacrificial type Cathodic Protection systems, Installation of MMO Piggy back anode, TR rectifier Unit installation & its testing, MG Anode for temporary CP, Big Fink, CMTP, CTP, PCR, AJB, NJB, STP, CPTR, EBB, Zinc ribbon anode, Grounding cell, Surge Diverters, Pin Brazing and Termite welding etc.

Pipe to soil potential testing (PSP) surveys.

Supervision of deep well anode installation using CS and PVC casing.

Supervised of CIP survey (Close Interval Potential) and DCVG (DC voltage gradient) survey for 48” & 24” gas pipeline.

Involved in Swing Potential test, Natural Potential survey for gas pipeline.

INSTRUMENT, CONTROL SYSTEM & TELECOMMUNICATION SYSTEM:

General Instruments: Conversant with Pneumatic, and Electronic Instruments like Differential Pressure, Level, Temperature Flow Vacuum Transmitter, Control Valves, Controllers, Pressure, Temperature, and Flow & Level Switches. Turbine flow meter. Routinely calibrated & configured smart series Instruments with HART Communicator and SFC also good knowledge about the workshop calibration Instruments.

Fire & Gas Instruments: Experienced in Installation & Operation of High Sensitivity Smoke Detection System of Kidde Fire Protection. Testing of F&G System including detectors GDT’s FDI’s HD, SD, HSSD system, FACP, Energen and MCL alarming system according to cause & effect matrix. Acquired experience of operation and maintenance of F&G Instruments like IR/UV Flame Detector, Line of Sight (open path) Gas Detector, Point Gas Detectors, Manual Call Points, Smoke/Heat Detectors, Beacons and Sounders and Building Fire & Security etc.

Control System: Have a good command to work on PLC, DCS; F&G System (Safe Guard ABB) based instrumentation. Conducted loop Checking, Cause & Effect Checking, Modified loops and resolved operational problems of PLC (Siemens, Allen Bradley, GE Fanuc and DCS (Fisher Rosemount, Honeywell TDC 3000).

Foundation Field bus: Experienced in Foundation Field bus System of Yakogawa (CS 3000) and FF Instruments. Familiar with basic fundamentals of Foundation Field bus System (Installation, Cabling, Calibration, Loop testing etc.).

Instrument Cables: Instrument cables Laying, Glanding & termination, IR Testing.

Fibre optic: Good Knowledge of fibre Optic Cable Laying, Splicing & Testing, End to End Testing of both type (single mode & multi-mode FOC). Witness of Fiber optic OTDR test @ 1550nm & 1310 nm (Optical time domain reflector) and Splicing with fusion arc splicer.

Vibration Monitoring System: Worked on Vibration Monitoring System of Bentley Nevada 3500 series. Installed Vibration Probes, checked probe health and Probe Characteristics.

Analysers: Installed, operated and maintained Analysers like Hydrocarbon, Moisture, Oxygen, Conductivity, and pH/ORP Analysers and Gas Chromatographs.

Calibration of Equipments: Calibration and testing of Instruments prior to installation. Utilized hydraulic Pressure Calibrator (Ametek JOFRA, Druck, and Giussani), Pneumatic Pressure Calibrator (Ametek JOFRA, Druck), MLC (JOFRA, Honeywell, Fluke, and Eurotron), Temperature Calibrator (JOFRA), Manometer, Dead Weight Tester (G.H.
