Automation Test Engineer (SOA Tester and UI automation engineer)

Kroger is the largest supermarket chain by revenue, the second-largest general retailer in US. Kroger has 2,778 supermarkets/multi-department stores. It maintains markets in 34 states, 786 convenience stores, 326 jewelry stores.

Responsible for creating service test scripts using CA DevTest 10 (LISA) to automate the REST Services test cases.

Create UI tests using Web Driver IO(JavaScript) to automate testing of customer facing web pages.

Responsible for writing integration scripts that will test the message flow through the different system in Kroger enterprise.

Played lead role and offshore coordinator for various projects in Agile.

Prepare SOA Test Design, Test Plan and reviewing the documents with the SOA Test Lead and project stake holders.

Responsible for creating scripts using HP UFT (Unified Functional Testing) to automate the test cases designed.

Collaboration with the virtualization team to setup the virtual service and integrating the environments for testing.

Perform SOA Test execution using SOAP UI (for ad-hoc testing) and HP UFT (Unified Functional Testing) for automated testing.

SOA Data Architect, Developer and SOA Test Lead

The Prudential Insurance Company of America provide insurance, investment management and other financial products to retail and institutional customers throughout the United States and over 30 countries.

Played the lead role as a SOA Data Modeler and Architect for the IAA’s IDM (Interface Design Model). The schema used was IBM’s IAA (Insurance Application Architecture).

Lead developer and coordinator for the development of transformation services. It includes but not limited to XML to XML, Flat File to XML (Vice-versa).

Test lead for the SOA Testing done on the new transformation services developed. The automation test suite in DXSI was used to do the test execution.

SOA Data Architect, Developer and SOA Tester

D&B provides data to businesses on credit history, marketing, risk exposure, supply chain management, and social identity matching. The database contains information on more than 235 million companies across 200 countries worldwide.

Lead Data Architect for designing the D&B’s proprietary XML data model which is equivalent to an industry standard XML model for Information Maintenance domain.

Developed automated SOA scripts using the custom test suite provided by the tool DXSI. As part of SOA Testing, I tested, the functionality of transformation services against Requirements.
