July 2005-September 2006 – Dearborn, MI

Created, developed and piloted methods to anticipate production quality issues using pre-production and engineering data streams before vehicle introduction yielded 75% accuracy on "Watched" pre job#1 items. Resulted in $500M annual warranty avoidance opportunity. (Precursor to “Predictive Analytics”)

Greater than 15,000 pre job#1 resolved issues where synthesized into 170 “Watch List” items be monitored. 70% of “watched” items recurred within 8 weeks post-Job#1; Validating the ability to anticipate quality concerns sooner than traditional lagging reporting methods, allowed teams to address customer concerns 2-6 months sooner.

Selected by senior leadership to lead a group of engineers to troubleshoot and contain a difficult vehicle launch at the Louisville, MO Assembly Plant to minimize anticipated adverse quality impact.
