JOB DESCRIPTION:

Engine and Propeller

- Inspects removes, installs, disassembles, assembles troubleshoots,

HAMILTON STANDARD 54H60 PROPELLER AND 501D22

engines.

- Performs inspections, preventive maintenance and repair on installed

engines.

•Performs engine periodic and special inspections by checking engine

Components for cracks, security of attachment, servicing, leakage foreign matter, clearance, deformation and proper safeties, removes from and installs engine on aircraft, including disconnecting and connecting fuel oil, air and hydraulic lines, aligning of engine, and inspecting controls for freedom of movement and mounting pads for condition.

- Accomplishes intermediate maintenance and engine build up

necessary to repair an replace engine parts, to include removing and

disassembling engine components parts

- Performs inspection, preventive maintenance, and repair and installed

prop and related system

- Performs intermediate maintenance on propellers and related systems.

Disassembles and reassembles dome assemblies for cleaning and for seals. Cleans and inspects work areas, work equipment, and disassembled propeller parts.

•Perform progressive inspection package on T56-A-7/15 /501-D22/501D22A Engines. Compressorwashing, removal and installation of engine and propeller, removal and installation of all engine cables from control quadrant to fireseal.Perform rigging on engine from quadrant to engine,perform removal and installation of valve housing and perform blade angle check,Perform removal and installation of fuel,oil hydraulic filters,thermocouples,fuel nozzles and engine starter.

Job Description

Air Plane General

Landing gear related works:

a) Removal installation of MLG and NLG tires.

b) Main landing Gear tracks with inspection for proper limitation.

c) Removal / installation of self brackets.

d) ball screw synchronization

e) nose landing gear steering wheel removal,installation and rigging of

steering cables

f) removal of nose landing gear strut

e) nose landing gear operational check out

Flight Control Related Works:

a) Removal and Installation of FLT controls, Rudder, Elevators and

aileron

b) Accomplished complete inspection of flight controls cabins work

include repair and lubrication

.

c) removal and installation of wing flaps including removal and

installation of flap jackscrew and flap carriage

Work included removal and installation of aircrafts major components

a) Outer wing

b) Vertical stabilizer

c) Cargo and ramp door removal and installation and rigging

Ground Handling :

- Towing of Aircraft to designated parking area.

- Placing of wheel chocks in forward and AFT of MLG tires.

- Connecting static ground wires.

- Installation of NLG safety lock pin.

- Removal/Installation of excluder Plugs and protective covers.

- Perform marshalling.

- Mooring of aircraft.

- Jacking of Aircraft (Preferred to alternate method)

- Hoisting of control surface, power package, landing gear including

external tanks and pylon.

- Hoisting propeller assembly for removal/installation.

Aircraft Servicing:

- Aircraft refueling and defueling, perform ground tank to tank transfer

to fuel

- propeller oil servicing

- ASPU/GTC ATM compressor oil servicing.

- Starter Oil servicing (non Bendix starter only)

- Servicing hydraulic system reservoir (Booster, utility and auxiliary)

- All accumulator and surge compressor for proper air charge.

- Landing gear shocks struts for fluid and air.

- MLG and NLG tires.

- Fire extinguisher and portable oxygen units.

- Battery for emergency exit lights.

LUBRICATIONS:

- Greasing of NLG, MLG and gear doors greasing point.

- Greasing of wing flaps driver system.

- Lubrication of flight controls, life raft, cable release system, latches

and controls.

- Greasing flight station seats.

- Greasing of APU.GTC actuating mechanism.
