Familiar with conducting Inspection of surface preparation, all types of coating final inspection, holiday detection testing, hardness testing and adhesion testing as per reputed international standard system such as ISO, SSPC, ASTM and NACE.

Job Descriptions

Coating:

Responsible for monitoring and recording painting activities as required by the Specification, Inspection & Test plan, and witnessing each stage till final inspection.

Responsible for Preparing Inspection test plan, Method statement, Quality control procedure related to Surface preparation and Coating.

Conducting/Witnessing blasters & painters performance Qualification, Issuing Identity cards.

Monitoring and Inspection of painting related activities. (Checking the weather conditions, Cleanliness’ of Pipes, Storage of Paints, etc.)

Reviewing client specification and preparing specification review, RFI, Concession request (if any) as per spec. and standards.

Reviewing coating equipment calibrations and updating.

Inspection of material Surface before/after blasting, checking surface profile

Witnessing WFT measurements during coating application.

Visual Inspection of coating surface and DFT measurement as per approved coating procedure/ITP

Verification of painting and test equipments calibration certificate and review of material certificates delivered and intended to use in the project.

Record site condition like Humidity, Dew point, Dry film Thickness, Wet-film Thickness, Holiday detection, Salt contamination test & other action as detailed in Inspection Test Plan.

Responsible for preparation, Compilation and hand-over of all documentation from daily, weekly, monthly, stage wise reports to final acceptance report.

Responsible for of all type of Abrasive Blasting & Painting Inspection Method & Inspection Instruments. Troubleshooting all types of coating defects. Coordinating with Specialized coating companies; EPC contractors; Paint manufacturers and End users representatives for the QC activities.

Paint materials shelf life verified and every receiving material, Paints mixing ratio and pot life verified, Before paint application paint system verified according to client requirements

Monitoring Blasting & Painting activities at the yard & site – pipes structural, storage tanks, internal coating of pipes, u/g coating of pipes, Planning of manpower distribution & material requirement for the projects.

Arranging stage wise inspection & clearance of documents, maintaining all records of Inspection & Testing and Materials Certificates Preparation of weekly and monthly report.

Familiarize with the Approved Quality and Inspection plan.

Conducting Blaster and Painter Qualification Tests.

Verification of Technical data sheets compliance with the specification.

Visual Inspection of surface preparation.
